"Mom's love"

( This is an original poem written for my mother I'll always cherish her hope you like it) (it's a lot of words though but I know you'll feel something reading it)

Have you ever loved someone so deeply
That you'd give your all, entirely
Not just in words, but in deeds, for sure
A love that's unyielding, forever pure

When they are the heart, and you their shield
Ready to protect, no matter how you feel
But what happens when fate turns its tide
When everything you cherished takes a ride

What if you become the source of pain
"Mummy, I'm hurting, I can't explain"
"Mommy, I'm scared, it's too much to bear"
This feeling inside, too heavy to share

Then, in that moment, your mother speaks
"I love you, my child, whatever life seeks
No curse or pain can keep us apart
You'll always be safe, nestled in my heart"

"Don't worry, my darling, you'll be just fine
We'll face it together, your pain, we'll align
And when you're gone, in spirit or form
I'll carry your love, and I'll weather the storm"

I reassure her, "Mum, I'll always be near
Smiling down on you, banishing your fear
Though I may stumble, or face my strife
You'll feel my love in the rhythm of life"

When illness strikes, and I feel weak
My mother's love, a refuge I seek
She lifts me up from the depths of despair
With unwavering love, she's always there

Then, in a moment, I awaken from dreams
To find my mother crying, or so it seems
I question myself, "Why does she weep?"
Blaming myself for the pain so deep

But she wipes her tears and gently imparts
"Christian, my child, you're forever in our hearts
You've said this before, but don't you see
Your love's so precious, it's hard for me"

I hold on to those words, in times of strife
Fighting for my life, embracing each breath of life
So I can be there for her, strong and alive
Assuring her happiness, wiping tears she's cried

In moments of darkness, when hope seems lost
I'll fight, I'll survive, no matter the cost
So I can tell my mom, "I've made it through"
No need to cry, for my love is true

(This  poem beautifully portrays the love between a mother and child. I hope this version captures the essence of your emotions and the bond you share with your own mom . Don't forget you don't know what you have until you lose it so always love your mother)
