"Dark clouds"
In her presence, my heart skips a beat,
Not love, but fear, a daunting feat.
She questions my social life, casts doubt,
Leaving me to navigate in shadows of self-doubt.Memories of smiles and beauty collide,
With the pain of departure, wounds open wide.
Raindrops fall, a melancholic symphony,
Singing of unworthiness and agony. But I'm done running, done with the pain,
No longer trash in someone else's disdain.
In the midst of dark clouds, I seek my release,
To find peace within, and let my soul find peace.-soulpoet-
