I'm 16 going into my second year of high school. This is my second school I have moved to and the reason is because me and my mother have been running away from my father Hal Cooper he was very abusive toward me and my mom. Until one day we got tired of all the abuse that one night we decided to run away.We packed our bags and left the house while he was sleeping

There would be days where he would come home drunk and would always begin to argue with my mom and it would always end with my mom having cuts and bruises around her face and arm. Other times he would just come up to my room and start hitting me just because he was too tired of work or stress so he would take his anger on me. I'm just glad we decided to run away from him, this time we moved to Riverdale.

I'm hoping this is the last time we move because I like it here. I made a friend here already, Archie. He is my next door neighbor and we have been talking since we moved here and we seem to hit it off good. He's cute and nice. Then I obviously have my cousin Cheryl. She's is the only one who I could trust and she happens to be the only one to know about my abusive father. Now it's almost 10 and I have to go to sleep cause I wouldn't want to be late for school tomorrow. I'm hoping tomorrow is a good day.
