He made his way out of the club with Harpreet in his arms, carefully and slowly placing her on her feet after exiting.

He booked a cab as the weather started to get cloudy, indicating that it would soon rain. Harpreet stood on her feet, but her upper body leaned against his, her arms wrapped around his torso, and her cheeks pressed against his broad chest.

She slurred unknown words, oblivious to his worries for her. Glancing down at her, Vihaan couldn't help but smile, relieved that she was safe and sound in his arms, close to his heart.

"Sir?" she called out to him, causing him to look back at her. He gently kissed the top of her head before replying, "Yes?" With her chin rested on his chest and her doe eyes looking at him, she pouted.

"Don't you like me?" she asked, making his breath hitch. She looked incredibly cute and beautiful, words failed to describe her.

He shook his head at her foolish question. Why wouldn't he like her? She meant everything to him, and he couldn't remember when he had fallen so deeply for her. Her eyes twinkled with hope.

"You do? You like me?" she asked, smiling at him. He couldn't help but smile back at her. Not only did he like her, but he also loved her. He loved her so much that he would do anything for her. "Then why did you shout at me? You didn't even talk to me for days."

Her voice trembled, her eyes tearing up again, making his heart ache. It was all his fault. Because of him, she was crying. "I'm sorry," Vihaan whispered softly, wrapping his arms around her and hugging her tightly.

The raindrops began to pour, and Vihaan hurriedly pulled Harpreet towards the bar for shelter. Harpreet shifted closer to him, shivering. Vihaan's palm caressed her back, trying to provide her with warmth.

As they stood by the bar, sheltered from the rain, Vihaan continued to hold Harpreet close, wanting to protect her from any harm. He couldn't bear to see her shivering, her vulnerability tugging at his heartstrings.

Harpreet nestled her head against his chest, seeking solace in his embrace before drifting into a sweet slumber. Vihaan pressed a tender kiss against her forehead, the raindrops falling around them like a romantic symphony.

As the rain subsided, the cab he booked arrived, the driver kind enough to let them dry off in the warmth of the vehicle before starting the ride. He made Harpreet settle into the backseat, her hand securely held within Vihaan's.

The atmosphere inside the cab was filled with a mix of silence and reassurance. Vihaan's thumb traced gentle patterns on Harpreet's hand. He knew he had to make things right, to cherish and love her wholeheartedly.

The car came to a stop in front of their building, and Vihaan helped Harpreet out, before taking her in his arms and making his way to their apartment. Reaching their floor, he made her stand for a brief second just to open the door of the apartment before taking her back in his arms.

Her eyes closed, snoring softly. He couldn't help but be drawn towards her; he can't hide it anymore, he can't hide his feelings for her anymore, he loves her, that's it. Making her lie comfortably on her bed, he slowly took off her heels. Seeing the red marks on her feet, he sighed. Why do girls wear heels when it hurts their beautiful feet?

He settled himself on the bed before taking her feet in his lap, slowly massaging them. Harpreet let out a moan, a small smile forming on her lips.

After massaging her feet for a few minutes, he settled them back on the bed, he tugged her comforter upto her chest, after checking everything he turned to leave, but halted on his track when Harpreet held his wrist.
