Dreamland...

(M/N)'s POV
I woke up in a quite unusual place this time. "What... What am I doing in... Cloudford?" I blinked my eyes while I slowly sat up. I looked at my surroundings for any potential threat, until I heard a familiar voice from my right. "Have you made your choice?"

I faced my former incarnation with an unsure look, making him look at me with a troubled smile. "Seems to me like you still haven't," and he sat next to me on the floor, "Indulge me then, what makes you hold back?"

"I... I don't belong here... This isn't my home world..." I sighed. My former incarnation put a hand on my shoulder. "So what? You know that Mr. Yang doesn't belong in this world too, right?" his statement made me realise that he was right. "Oh... I forgot about his origins indeed..."

"So... what else are you thinking about then?"

"My family and friends... How would they feel when I suddenly have left? Would they be worried?" I wondered out loud, "And what about my whole life, which was built there? I don't know if I'm ready to leave that all behind..."

"Hm... Yeah, that's a valid reason. But you know what? For the power of love, you'd do anything. You can't keep everything with you... Sometimes... sacrifices are inevitable," (M/N) said.

"Hm... We're on the same page for that," I agreed before giving him a small smile. (M/N) patted my shoulder for comfort. "What about this universe? You've got quite adapted to it, no?"

I gave his question some thought. "Well, I won't lie that this world is really beautiful. Plus, I've been welcomed with open arms since my abrupt teleportation from my home world. Miss Bailu, general JingYuan, PomPom, Miss Himeko, Mr. Yang, Caelus, March... Dan Heng..."

My smile turned soft thinking about the beautiful raven haired male...

'Dan Heng...'

"Thump!" "Thump!" "Thump!"

(M/N) gave me knowing smile. "It seems like my lover's reincarnation got a special spot in your heart, no?"

"I... I guess he did... I won't lie about that," I sheepishly said while rubbing the back of my neck. (M/N) then turned serious. "But there's something holding you back, no? From staying here in this universe."

"Yeah... I don't know how to describe this feeling, but it's just this feeling in the pit of my stomach making me hold back from staying here..."

"Your gut feeling perhaps? Everyone has such feelings. It's normal," (M/N) said reassuringly.

"I see..." I sighed, "Well, it doesn't really help with making a final decision... I'm very much lost at this point on..."

"Maybe this final piece of information will guide you," (M/N) suggested, "Whether you choose to leave for your home world or stay in this universe, know that once you've made your choice there will be no turning back. That means that you can't return to either this universe or your home world," (M/N) put his hand on the place where my heart is located, "So make a decision based on what your heart says. Make a decision you won't regret..."
