he hums into her, burrowing his head into her shoulder, placing gentle kisses on her exposed skin. "what're you saying about me?"
"that you're the worst boyfriend ever."
"so you're lying to your best friend," he sits up, mouth falling open.
"yes." she claims proudly, "i love you, so i must lie about you in salvation of my own sanity."
"i love you too," he looks down at her before leaning down slowly, allowing his lips to find hers.
