34. A Ray Of Happiness

Mahi's Pov:

I wake up and look around.
I tried to sit.
I can hear someone's voice outside my cabin.
My mind is not clear I am not being able to recognize the voice.
I grab my phone to look at the time.
It's 8:30 at night.
I slept for 4 hours.
"Is there anyone?" I said in a low voice.

Door opened and Huma Aapi entered.
"Oh my God baby, you are up" she engulf me in a hug.
"Yeah" I said.
"You know I am very very happy, you gave us a great news" she said.
"Thank you" I said to her.
"Where is Saif?" I asked.
The first and the last thing I want is him.
"He is all ok and he is waiting to meet you and the soon to be mother of his child" she said.
I smiled.
"Who told him about my pregnancy?" I asked.
"Well as soon as he get properly conscious he start insisting
to see you. He was not
listening. When I told him that you are in another cabin because you were not feeling well,
he starts insisting more. So atlast I had to give him this good news" she explained.
"Was he happy?" I asked.
"That you can ask yourself to him" she said.
I laughed.

Saif's Pov:

I open my eyes slowly, my vision is blurry.
And I am feeling immense pain in my head, several machines are connected
to me.
I try to move.
I don't know if I make any noise or not but don't know how my
father who's sitting beside my bed get to know about my consciousness.
He got up instantly.
"Saif" he called me.
My vision is still blurry.

Leaving me he went outside.
But where the hell I am! I thought.
After sometimes, a doctor came inside.
"How are you feeling?" The doctor asked.
I nod lightly.
Then I remember I was driving, I was in anger due to which I didn't
notice a truck coming towards me.
I turn my car to avoid collapsing and as a result my car got hit into a tree.

The doctor checked me and asked me several questions like if I
am feeling pain or not, is my leg moving or not and all....
After a 10-15 minutes of questioning session, he gave me an injection and went out.
My mother came inside followed by my father.
My mother caress my head lovingly, her eyes are teary.
"Allah ka shukr h that you are fine" she said.
(Thank God that you are fine)

Then my father also came forward and kissed me on my forehead.
I am the youngest in my home so obviously I was a overly pampered child.
"I am going to call Huma to let her know that Saif get conscious" my mother said.
"Yeah, she is stressing so much at home" my father replied.

After few minutes my in-laws, Mahi's parents enter.
They also asked how I am feeling and all.

After that Zohair bhai and Amaan came inside followed by Rabia.
They asked me the same.
Amaan said that he and Rabia wants to talk about something
to me so Zohair bhai went out.

"I hope you are fine Saif. May you get well as soon as possible" Rabia said.
I nod a little and forced a smile.
I am waiting for them to continue.
They both are looking at each other with hesitation.
"You can tell me whatever you want, don't hesitate" I said wanting
them to speak whatever they want and go out.
And being honest I didn't expect them being here.
I mean I didn't expect that they would be here for me and I got to know from Zohair bhai that
both of them are here since long.
It's kinda suspicious to me.

Finally after their staring competition Amaan took a deep breathe.

"Saif, I am here to apologize" he said.
I looked at him in a questioning gaze. Like he is apologizing to me but for what!?
"For whatever I had done
to Mahi. I had apologized to her also but she didn't forgive me. Please Saif, I know I did wrong.
Tell her to forgive me and I am asking for your forgiveness too.
I hope Mahi told you whatever I said to her that day" he said.
"Yeah, she told me" I said.
"Saif, I expect you to listen to me carefully. I am really guilty of my act. I did very wrong...." I cut him in between.
"You did nothing wrong Amaan" I said.
He look at me
being shocked may be...
"You did nothing wrong
to me so don't apologize to me. Apologize to the one whom you played dirty with" I said.
