The white-haired boy actually told the rest of his two classmates that Makima has had a pretty rough childhood, so he said that it's their job to turn her sad life upside down

Satoru grabbed a megaphone out of nowhere."WAKE UP SLEEPYHEAD!"
"Okay okay...now will you stop with that megaphone in my ear?"
"Senpai! Where are we going for your birthday?" Haibara asked
"Yo. What's up you guys? Lemme guess, he dragged your asses here too?" the birthday girl asked

"WE'RE GOING TO PERU!" Suguru announced
"Oh. Well, yay I guess."
Shoko lit a cigarette. "I heard they have good beaches."
"Will you stop smoking in my room??"
"Whoops. My bad." she says, throwing away the once-lit cigarette
"Peru, huh? Let's go then!"
Makima teleported all six of them to the culturally diverse South American country.
"Hey, did you-"
"Don't worry princess! I already made reservations online!" Satoru said, cutting the red-haired off

"Follow me everyone!" Satoru announces
They headed to where the supposed reservations were. Buuuut...
they got lost.
The group now ends up in the Amazon Rainforest.
"Dude. You have Zoro level navigation." Suguru says blankly
Satoru pouts. "Heeey! That's so meannnn!"
"It's fine guys!" he said. "We're totally on the right track."
"AHHHH! WHAT IF THERE'S SNAKES OR WILD ANIMALS HERE!"
Nanami looks at him. "It's a rainforest, Haibara. Wild animals are everywhere."
Shoko takes a puff of smoke."AMIGOS! Relax! We're in Peru!"

They got jinxed.
In fact, they stumbled upon a secret compound. It's the hideout of a very prominent drug cartel there in Peru. The hideout was deep in the jungle, riddled with snakes and the lush green forest that surrounds it.
The group explored the area further, discovering numerous hidden tunnels and a weapons cache of guns, ammunition, and explosives ranging from handguns to semiautomatic rifles.
"Guys, look! I found the gun I mained in COD!" Satoru cried
Makima walks over to inspect it. "MP5K?"
