Percy POV

I sat silently on the Big House porch next to Chiron. When Hera blessed me I was able to talk, but I still didn't. What's the point of a voice if I couldn't talk to the one person I wanted to? Most of the time I was mute unless I really had to say something, like when I taught sword fighting or in meetings.

I heard a voice scream for help at the top of the hill. I looked at Chiron and he nodded. I disappeared from my spot on the porch to the top of the hill. The vapor took me and I was met with a tall boy. He had milk chocolate brown hair with mysterious purple eyes that kept changing like Pipers, but mainly focused on purple.

Intriguing, most girls would find him handsome, he was about 6 foot. I was 4 inches taller, but only because of the blessing. I grew 5 inches because of Hera, I'm thankful none the less. The teen was surrounded by more than 5 hellhounds. He had no weapons so I vapor traveled to his side.

"Get back!" He shouted trying to keep the monsters at bay.

The weird thing was they listened for a few seconds, the boy must have charm speak like Piper. Cool, hope he doesn't abuse that power. I got to business and handed him a spare dagger I had. No time to learn I gestured to the 2 in front of him. I took the rest.

The first lunged at me, I slid baseball style under it and thrust my sword into its belly. The second tried to slash at me with its paw. The third came from behind and jumped trying to surprise me. I side stepped and the third landed on the seconds outstretched paw exploding into golden dust. A quick dodge and stab later the second was gone.

I turned back in time to see the teen get tackled by one of his hell hounds. I jumped forward impaling my sword into its spine making it yelp and disintegrate. I helped the teen up and spun slashing the last one through his rib cage.

Once they were all gone I turned back to the guy. He looked at me breathless and sweaty. I was a little hot from the sun pouring its heat on me, otherwise I was unaffected. Now that I got a good look at him, this guy had a few muscles, but he would get more with training. Many of the camp's girls would love to have him as a boyfriend.

"Th-thank you." He sputtered catching his breath. I nodded in reply.

"What's your name." He asked curiously. I sent sound waves into his body.

"Percy." He jumped and looked around, then he narrowed his eyes at me.

"How'd you do that?" He asked nervously.

"Blessing. I'm mute though, I don't speak much." With that I lead him to the top of Halfblood hill.

Chiron met us there. He welcomed the teen in the boundaries. As soon as he stepped into the camp a pinkish glow surrounded him. His sweaty clothes replaced themselves into a neat pair of camp clothes. Jeans and the Orange shirt showing he was Greek, a dove glowed above his head. Chiron nodded to the people who gathered around.

"What's your name son?" Chiron asked.

"Jack Omorfos" The teen said pronouncing his last name as Oh-more-fuss. Chiron turned toward the campers. (Rough translation of beautiful into Greek)

"All hail Jack Omorfos, son of Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty." Everyone bowed their heads in respect and then went back to their daily activities.

"Let's go watch the orientation video before we figure out why you have been claimed so late." Chiron said leading him off.

My sword class was already finished.
