everything i do is wrong,

have you ever felt that way?

the words i say,

the face i make,

the way i act,

the voice i use.

everything i do is wrong.

you seem frustrated.

i cannot help.

i ask what i can do,

but it's no use.

everything i do is wrong.

i say i love you.

you don't reply.

just look away as i slowly die.

everything i do is wrong.

i know you feel it too

sometimes,

annoyed with yourself.

the voice you use,

the face you make,

the way you act,

the words you say.

everything you say is wrong.

you think i don't understand,

but you are wrong.

anything we do to help is right.

Hey fellow bookworms!

Currently, I have people in my life going through things, and they look to me for help, but I feel useless. I feel like I can't do anything to help them, and I just create more problems for them, so what did I do? I created this poem. I think the idea that you can't do anything right is universal. Everyone feels this way at some point, so da duh, a poem for when you feel it too.

Remember, sometimes just being there is enough; just listening to them vent, or being the shoulder they cry on. You're not always going to be able to make them laugh when they are crying. You're not always going to be take away the pain and the frustration, but that is okay. They look to you because you are their "Person" (for those Grey's Anatomy people out there). Don't be afraid of that, embrace it, and remember anything you do to help is right.

Love you guys!
