Past Part 18

Naina's POV...

It has been 3 months since the incident, where I came to know why I was being ignored by Arjun...

I won't lie, It was a terrible moment, being ignored by someone whom you love is devastating !

I was heartbroken, and let me tell you, it's the worst thing that can ever happen to you, but Sid was right I shouldn't let Arjun behaviour towards me, effect my lifestyle..

He chose to ignore me for whatever reasons, it was his choice, Why should I be gloomy over it...? Arjun never said he liked me, neither he was committed to me, so he can do whatever he likes

So I decided, I will do what he did to me, ignore his calls and limit my interaction as much as I can, Coz I need to keep up my self respect and I will not to readily accept anyone who chose to leave me for someone else...

It should be me who decides who stays in my life, and who doesn't ! Not someone else...

But I don't hate him, though he broke my heart, he is still my friend...

I don't know, but thanks to him and my besties I feel like more  stronger as a person now...

Last 3 months have been great, I feel like I am getting back to myself, not sulking over Arjun is really helping me to focus on important things like, my upcoming MBA entrance exam, my brother's wedding and Radhika's sister, (also Bhaiyya's ex) Shrutika Di's wedding as well...

I have a hectic schedule ahead, most dreading one is to select an outfit for both the weddings, a lot of things changed in these 5 years

I transformed from a tomboy to a girl who dresses like other girls, and you have no idea how happy my mother was, but my hate for dressing up remained the same...

Today after a long time, I am going to go out with my friends, we planned for a movie, so Sid, Me, Radhika, Anu, Ishaan and Adi - Sash are going to meet at the movie theatre

'Let's gooo...' Rads cheered, hopping on the back seat of my scooter, while I wore my helmet

Do give me a ride on your scooter, when I come back... Arjun's voice rang in my mind and I sigh, why can't he get out of my head

'Naina...' Rads shook me 'Let's goo...' she says

'Yeah...' I start the scooter and we drive towards the mall

At the theatre...

We walk towards the screen, where others were waiting for us, chatting about something, I was adjusting the zip of my sling bag, and Rads was holding my hand, navigating me through the crowd, I did not know when Rads left my arms and joined others

I didn't realise I was all by myself, and gasped seeing someone's sudden presence in front, I prevented myself from colliding with the person by pushing myself back, but it looked like the other person stood at their place, not moving, as if anticipating the collision

I look at the person, he was our friend Ishaan, who was staring at me, without even blinking, which to be honest was kinda creepy

I click my fingers in front of him, to break his trance, he smiled, staring at me from top to bottom, but I did not smile back, because I did not like the way he looked at me...

'Hey Naina, you... You look great ! I mean this outfit suits you...'

It's just a plain shirt and jeans, what is so great about this outfit...

'Uh.. Thanks... ' I say and spot my friends behind him and excused myself from there

'Damn...' I hear him saying
