chapter 3

“Shit , can't you do your work properly, I just told you to get my coffee and nothing else and you can't do a single thing” he shouted

I wasn't able to say anything. I was too scared to answer. And my hand was burning lot. I don't know whether I was crying because of the coffee or because he shouted at me. I just looked down.
I then looked up, but he was nowhere to be seen so I left and get him his coffee. I was about to leave but then i heard him

"Stay where you are.,"

I just turned around and looked at the floor. Then I felt him taking my hand. I just took steps back.

"Can't you just stay at one place."he said and glared at me. He once again took my hand and applied something cold, then I looked at my hand and saw it was ice. He was applying ice on my burned hand. It was paining a lot. After he applied ice.

"Thank you " I said in a low voice. I didn't give him any chance to say anything and left his cabin.

I sat on my table opposite to his cabin. I looked at my hand red by now. Then I arranged his files and his schedule for the day and went to his cabin with his coffee. I knocked on the door and when i heard him, i when inside kept his files and coffee making no eye contact.

"Sir this is your schedule for the day. I have arranged your meetings too.," I said

After then I left his room without giving him any glance.

Now the time was 4:00 and I am hungry. Now I inspected the cafeteria. Which was big and had many chairs and tables? I went to the counter and took a sandwich and a glass of orange juice. And took a seat near the counter. After I ate, I sat on my chair now I don't, have any work to do, so I put my head down and closed my eyes for a while but was interrupted by a phone call.

I received the call and
"Hello". I said

"Come to my cabin now” he said
I just cut the call saying nothing.

I knocked on the door but there was no reply so I entered his cabin and saw him talking on the phone so I waited for him. He was on the phone but his eyes were glued on me which was making me uncomfortable.

After his conversation ended on the phone. He asked me if i had completed all my work for today. I just nodded my head. He then told me

"Tomorrow we have an important presentation and I want you to prepare it now and then you can leave,"
I just had one hour after which I could go home but now if I had to prepare this presentation it would take atleast 2 more hours. I wanted to argue with him but i just kept quiet.

"You may leave now" He said in a harsh tone.

I started working on the presentation. Now it was 5:30 and almost everyone left. By the time it did me it was 6'o'clock. I went to him and handed him the presentation. He just nodded at me. Then I left his cabin gathered all my things and went down. I took a taxi and reached home at 7:30. I was late today. I was have a spare keys, so I opened the door and I went up to freshen u. After changing into comfortable clothes I came downstairs to prepare the dinner. As soon as I prepared dinner I called my parents, they ate their dinner and went to their room, once I did them I had my dinner, wash the dishes and went up to sleep.

Next day

I woke up early.  My head was hurting a lot because of the nightmare which I was having, I took the painkiller and took a bath, got ready for the work and did my daily chores. Today for breakfast I made a pancake and orange juice. But I didn't feel like to eat it. I wasn't in the mood to eat any so i just drank half glass of juice.

      Today's weather was not good in London it was raining heavily, I dint feel well going to work. But I have to because it is my 2nd day. I took an umbrella and went out. There were no sign of a taxi or a bus so I walked. I was freezing; the weather was getting bad. I saw a black Lamborghini car coming near me. I just ignored it and kept walking but still the car was following me. I got scared and started walking fast.

Then the car door opened revealing none other than Drake Vincent my boss. I just looked at him straight in his eyes.

"Sit in the car,".

I didn't want to sit, but he kept forcing me again and again so I sat in the car. The car  ride was silent. I started sneezing continuously. Then I saw the heater was on.  Thank god!
We reached office.

"Thank u " I said

He just nodded and went to the parking lot. All eyes were on me. I just put my head down and when up to prepare for the meeting. I wasn't feeling well. My head was hurting.

I just ignored my pain and check whether I set everything.  I was walking to the conference room on my way I saw him.

"Are you ready for the presentation," he asked
"Yes,"
"Lets go,".

I was strolling as I was having a severe headache. I entered the conference room. It was a big conference room and saw no. of men and women seated in formals or suits. The only two people I recognise was sir and Shawn .
I saw a seat empty near sirs chair so I sat down.

Then the meeting started. Mr. Vincent started to explain the presentation.
"Ms. peige could you pass me that file,".
I could hear someone calling my name but could not figure out what they were trying to tell. I started to feel dizzy.
"Ms. peige the file "He called my name again and this time I gave him the file. Then after a few minutes everything went blank.
