I knocked on the door of Mrs{es}, Ginas house and walked in, she was standing in the laundry room folding her work clothes and haylees uniforms; she greeted me with a hug and with that i sat on the stool by the island they have in the middle of the kitchen and laundry room

"Hey Kerra girl, how was school?"

"Better than this morning" I said trying not to sound specious. "Where is haylee?"

"She had a choir meeting this afternoon till 5ish but she will be back soon, would u like a snack? Or some juice?"

"No thank you, but ill take apple juice if you have any." I said with a thirsty look

"Yes ma'am, you look sick." Gina said while pouring me apple juice.

"Im just tired Mrs, Gina"! I said grabbing the cold juice and hopping off

"Okay kerra, i have some advil if u need any"

"Thank you Mrs. Gina, im going to go up to the spare bedroom and watch a movie till haylee gets back"

I heard a knock on the door and haylee burged in

" My dad will kill me"

I was on the couch with Danielle waiting impatiently for my dad! Geez im enjoying the comfy fabric of the couch as much i could because i know i won't be soon; my dad walked in behind Danielle's dad!

"How was the sleep over?" My father asked pissed.

"It was awesome" I said saractic.

He came closer; inches from the couch

"Oh really? " he said his tone turning furious, "I hope it was worth it."

I sanked down on the couch and Danille looked frightened by his moodiness

I felt bad because i didn't ask to come to the sleep over; instead i lied
