Waking Up

Hope y'all like the new cover. I thought it'd be better than just a picture of Jasper. Anyway forewarning... I'm back at school so the updates will be slower and I hope y'all like the new chapters.

Esme's pov

I walked slowly to the room holding Lilly. We've all held off on seeing her till everything had settled down with the war and stuff. So I walked to the grand door with engraved drawings of Cala Lilys. Pushing the heavy doors open I walked in. The young girl lay on the bed, she wore a long white dress that covered her arms and legs. Her hair flowed down her shoulders and the back of the table. Her face look as if she were asleep, ready to wake up in a few moments, but she will never wake, she was dead, she had let out her last breath two years ago. A large clump of white roses sat in her arms, each one given to her by a member of our family.

I walked over to the table, placing my hands on the table next to Lilly's waist. I looked down at her. I stared at her nose. It was making small moments showing each breath.

"Lilly..." I whispered. Her eyes slowly opened. I fell back in shock.

Lilly gasped. "Esme. Are you... what." She asked she looked so confused. Her eyes were there original chocolate brown her chest rose and fell breathing steadily.

"You're supposed to be dead."
