No-one ever knows quite how to react when
A feeling they never thought they'd experience
Hits them square in the face
With all the grace of a drunken disco dancer
Heart beats faster,
Lightness in the chest
A feeling so unbridled you can't control,
It,
It lifts you up to the point of euphoria
Where nothing you think can ever hope to stop it
It also begs the rational question
Is this simply madness borne out of hope?
Nothing more than wilful infatuation?
Short-lived, temporary high dope?
But the message from your brain cell beg to differ
This isn't a short lived fad, or fickle delight
How can it be when it feels this good?
A sweeping and soaring rollercoaster ride
