Tony and Bruce were up all night trying to figure out that why Peter's, the kid that they had raised, blood samples were fake.
"Did He seem normal?"
"I think so."
"He might have switched the real jar for this one?"
"That sounds better than having a clone of Peter."
They had been going through every possibilities until Vision came through the ceiling
"Breakfast is ready, and has been for the last 45 min, I suggest you come up." The AI informed the two, and went up the same way he came down
"I understand why Wanda has a problem with the whole walking through stuff now." Tiny agreed as the two walked up the stairs to the kitchen
Most of the team were eating at the breakfast bar, while Wanda was telling Vision (once again) to use doors.
But what was missing, was the kid that was supposed to be ranting away to Clint.
Tony was about to ask where he was when the TV answered that for him
"And today New York is celebrating the 10 anniversary since the Battle of New York when the world was first introduced to the Avengers"
"Oh, kid..." Tony said to himself as he remembered the events of the Chatari attack

Peter woke up that morning and immediately he felt down, for the reason, he didn't really know,
He went to open up his phone, what he saw only made it worse
A notification from his calendar read, "May 4, 2018 Battle of New York."
Peter didnt even bother moving off of his bed to get breakfast, he just layed back down and started to remember the event of that horrible day

Peter and his aunt were in their car, heading to an ice cream parlor
Little Peter sat in the back rambling about the flavor that he wanted as his aunt navigated and gave a small little laugh at her nephew.
They were almost there when a hole opened in the sky, and things flew out of it.
"Aunt May?" Peter asked as he saw them getting closer to the road.
"Don't worry honey, we're just gonna go to another building for a while okay?" She reassured him as she unbuckled and opened Peters door to take him out of the car seat
People around them were screaming and running as the chatari attacked, May ran in between them holding Peter so close to her chest as she ran to the nearest store to hide out in.
They were almost to the doors when suddenly they collapsed trapping others underneath it, Peter screamed in her ear as he saw the blood coming from underneath the rocks, he was young but he did understand death
She pulled Peter into the alley right by the store and knelt down to look Peter in the face
"Petey I want you to listen to me," she told him turning his head away from the street, "I want you to stay close to me no madder what, we have to find shelter."
The boy nodded as he clung back onto her, but as she was about to pick him back up, he heard the jets coming from his favorite superhero
"It's Iron Man!" He yelled running out to get a better look
"PETER!"
"Don't worry!" He called said turning back to her, " it's Iron Man, he'll save the day!"
"PETER!"
But he kept smiling and pointing at the other hero's oblivious to the alien running down the side walk
May saw the spear leave its grasp and head for her nephew, he turned to look at her, still smiling
"PETER!"
she yelled as she shoved the boy out of the way, and she felt the metal spear pierce through her abdomen and she collapsed to the ground
The spear was stuck in the ground making her rise above it a little
Her ears rang, tears fell from her eyes, she looked down and saw her own blood covering her torso and her hands, she heard a scream that she recognized, her child's scream, she looked over and saw Peter looking at her, petrified
"Hey Peter" she said weakly as she cupped his cheek in her hand leaving a hand print
"It's all right"
Tears fell from her eyes as she smiled at him, trying to reassure him as he sobbed, leaning into her hand
"Can you be brave for me?"
He nodded a little as another sob erupted from him
"I want you to run over to that building over there okay? It's just gonna be a game of hide and seek, I want you to hide in their till it's all over"
He nodded again and he held her other hand with his small hand
"I love you so much"
She started to cry as she heard another explosion from behind them
"Now go..."
He shook his head and cried harder
"Run Peter, go."
Peter kissed her cheek and ran across the street away from his aunt and disappeared from her sight
She looked back up at the sky and started crying
she started coughing up blood
But it didn't matter, Peter was safe, she knew he would come out of this alive, she knew that there was no hope for her
black started to cover her vision, until all she saw was black and then a blinding light.

Peter ran across the street into the sea of people running about, tears covered his vision as he made his way to the door
When he reached it he desperately tried to open it up, but it was locked
His sobs came harder as he tried harder to open up the door, but it was no use
Peter walked to the wall of the building and curled up, hoping to open his eyes to see he was at home, his aunt was okay, and everything was alright
But he looked back up to see more Chatari attacking
But he heard a crash from above him, and saw bricks falling down to where he was then after something hard hit his head, there was nothing

'Knock knock'
"Peter?"
Peter sat ubruptly from his bed, he didn't even notice he was crying
'Knock knock'
"Peter?" It was Nat
He tried to form words but it came out in a sob
Nat took that for an invite to his room
"Peter it's okay" she said as she sat by him on the bed, pulling him closer and letting him cry into her chest

It was May 4 2018
The anniversary of the first time the Avengers came together
The anniversary for the battle of New York
The anniversary for May's death
