So apparently, every time new workers come to Green Globe, they got out and celebrate. Not everyone who is working there cause there's so many. Just from the sections the newbie's were assigned to. It's mostly so that they can get to know each other.

I didn't really have a choice in attending cause I'm one of the newbies and I "must come" according to Jacob. It was pretty late and I have a 2 hour subway ride to take to get home. It was already 10 p.m. when we got to this crowded restaurant, around the corner.

The 5 newbies sat on one side of the table and the others sat randomly. I got Mary and Jake on both sides of me with Drew sitting right in front of me and Seth sitting next to him. There's a total of 14 people here. Some couldn't make it today.

They order a round of champagne and we all wait till each and everyone got a glass in their hands. It was Jacob that initiated the toast and we all toasted to the "Start of a crappy job". We all drank the entire glass of champagne and then it was filled again. Food started coming to our table, although I don't know who ordered them. There's all kinds of food like fried rice, pasta, pizza and some kinda curry stuff. Food was actually pretty good. I had a bite from every dish and then I finally settled to eat pizza, my favorite food.

I haven't had a dinner like this in a very, very long time. Even the date with Veron, it wasn't this good cause I was concerned about the price. That was an expensive restaurant. This one is like Martine's.

The whole table is alive with chatter. Some are shouting across the table while some are talking to the person next to them. It's all a chaos. Lively chaos.

Jake clears his throat. "Okay, so out of all of us." He moves a finger in front of the 5 of us. "You got the most boring job." He point a finger at me. "It's full with responsibilities as well."

From a few seats away. Jacob, hearing what Jake just said throws a potato piece at Jake. Everyone starts paying attention to them.

"What? It's the truth right?" Jake pops in the potato piece he caught while shrugging.

"Okay, butcher man, do your job for one day and tell me if it's not boring." Jacob snicker and Anna, a cashier throws a potato at Jacob.

Ever since we sat down here to eat, I saw Seth watching me. It wasn't like staring. Just occasional glimpses in my direction. But he does it a little too often than normal. Sometimes, a small smile plays on his lips as well.

Now, one might wonder how I know that he looks at me. Well... I have my fair share of looking at him as well. He is a cute guy and there's nothing wrong with looking. Right?

"Hey!" Some guy says... I don't know his name for sure. Nick? "Let's play Truth or Dare, but without the dare!"

Everyone look around at others. They all look puzzled by the suggestion.

"Why Big guy? Scared of a little dare?" A guy asks and everyone started laughing and making fun of him at the same time.

Nick (I think) holds up his hands in surrender and cave in. "Fine! Fine! Dare's in. Can we play now?"

He claps his hands excitedly when everyone nodded.

"Alright, I'll start." He looks around the table. "Jake. Truth or Dare."

"Dare"

"Our first contestant of the night, chooses to do a dare." Someone says in an announcing voice.

"Drink down your champagne in one breath."

Disappointment curse through the table as some say that it's easy. Jake nods and takes his champagne glass. It was only half filled so he take the bottle and fill it up. In one quick breath, he chuck down the entire glass.
