It was Friday before I knew it, thankfully Molly didn't back out of going to the party with me. We've decided we're going to get our nails done later but right now I'm babysitting Oli because Emily has her own nail appointment and Alex was working.
I got a message, so I picked up my phone to see if was a message from Shay
Hey girl🤪 so I know your not coming to the party with us later but come find us when you get there we need to see Helens face when she see's you!
I grin and respond
Hopefully you lot are not with your hookups for the night before I get there🥵 I ain't going barging in on that!
She only takes a few seconds to reply
Damn it, I thought you'd come join😢
I laugh to myself and type a quick reply before returning my attention to Oli who's busy playing on the floor in front of me.
Emily gets back an hour later with amazing glossy red nails
"You excited for the party later?" She asks me putting one of the two smoothies she bought in front of me
I nod and take a sip out of my drink "I actually am you know, I feel like I haven't been out in ages"
"Is Ryder going?" She grins
"Last I checked he was" which is true, Ryders been getting himself in a lot of trouble this past week meaning lunch time attention for him and we're busy doing assignments in English so we only have been talking over text
The door opens and Alex walks in wearing his work clothes
"Hey, soon-to-be brother in law" I smirk
Alex looks at Emily and shakes his head laughing "what about taking things slow does your sister not understand?"
Emily doesn't get to respond before I interrupt "I'm pretty sure I've just never been the same since I walked in on you two. It really hurts someone's brain"
Emily rolls her eyes "oh whatever if I ever walk in on you and some boy I'll make sure you never hear the end of it"
"Like thats going to happen"
"Who knows you and-"
I stand up "I'm going to pretend I don't know who your going to say" I pick up my drink "now if you'd excuse me, I'm going to go and get my nails done"
"So you can scratch his back during private time later on?" Emily grins picking Oli up from his high chair
"I'm going now, bye" I say walking past Alex who's also grinning like a Cheshire Cat
I went to the gym on the way home, showered and changed into some sweats before meeting Molly at the nail salon
We both took the seats beside each other and greet our nail techs before telling them what nails we want
"Have you been talking to Sean?" I ask her after a few minutes
She nods "I actually met up with him earlier, he's my new unprofessional personal trainer"
