"Is this okay?" Lennox asked in a text.

I enlarged the picture he sent and found that it was a screenshot of his tweets in response to that malicious article about him.

I felt so angry when I first saw that tasteless article. It was really trying hard to tear Lennox's reputation. It was also absurd since after all, they used Kristine, out of all people, as Lennox's abandoned woman.

Frankly, everything about that news article is just so wrong! Lennox does not need to hire women to please him because women would readily present their selves to him. Besides, if he was really an easy person, why would it take me so long just to 'capture' him?

But really, I feel so resentful. I hate the people who are behind the propagation of that false story. I am not certain who it is, but if my guess is right, it just people who are too jealous of Lennox.

After all, he is young, good-looking and a competent leader. He is getting too much praise from the media and also netizens. Everyone practically knows him now and admire his governance, despite not living in La Coron City. In fact, his followers on his social media accounts have almost caught up to the president's.

Many people are also saying that Lennox's actions towards mitigating the after-effects of the typhoon was far more effective than the national government.

Honestly, I could not help but also agree. Lennox is innovative and has a sense of urgency. He did not hesitate to take action right away and help his constituents.

But as for the national government...

I do not even know what they're exactly doing to tackle this situation.

My lips were in a grim line but upon reading Lennox's tweets, I couldn't help but let out a smile.

@lennoxzevallos: I do not feel the need to deal with malicious and false allegations about me, since there is a bigger problem that we are facing right now. For me, we should just focus on helping out each other to help those who are affected by this calamity.

On the second tweet, there was a picture attached. It was a picture of a teenage Lennox with Kristine, as well as two adult women. If I'm not wrong, those two women could be Lennox's mum and aunt.

Hmm. Even as a teenager, Lennox was already quite tall. His looks also stood out. However, he was not as muscly as he is right now.

@lennoxzevallos: However, one particular rumour have bothered me. The woman I brought in the national event is in fact, my cousin from my mother's side.

My lips smiled even wider upon reading the last tweet. Hmm. I am that someone that he likes, right? Does he mean that he'll only publicise our relationship if I have a baby with him?

Haha! Just thinking about it is a bit silly.

Quickly, I sent a reply to him.

Me: Mmm. It is good. Even if you don't say all that, I know that you are a good person, you know. I know you. You're a good guy. And usually, it is the good guys that they always try to bring down.
