Meeting Their Younger Selves

Chapter 2 - Travis and Connor Stoll

Travis POV

I just about managed to dodge the hellhound running towards me, and slice my sword upwards, into the underbelly of the mutt, killing it and returning its essence to Tartarus, while Connor had gotten onto the back of his hellhound and killed it.

"What? Where the Hades are we?" Connor yelled. I was about to ask what he was talking about when I noticed we weren't on the battlefield anymore.

"I think we are in Camp Half-Blood," I say. That is when I see Chiron come over. I look behind him and see a lot of people sitting down at the dining pavilion. I see many people there including smaller versions Clarisse, Chris and . . . is that a smaller version me and Connor?

"Greetings" Chiron begins "I presume you are Travis and Connor"

"Yes" I say

"What is going on?" Connor asks

"You have been transported from the future to tell us about what is happening in the future." Chiron says "Don't worry, you aren't the only people coming" That answered my unasked question.

"Would you be able to get some ambrosia and nectar ready. I have a feeling a lot of people will need it." I say

"Why would that be?" Annabeth asked

"Aww she was so cute then" Connor says

"I think Annabeth has had one of the biggest changes, behind maybe only Grover and Percy" I continue

"Are you going to answer my question?" Annabeth demands

"At least that doesn't change" I say

"And for the answer to your question, it is because we are in battle at the moment" Connor continues

"Why are you in battle?" Annabeth asks

"Is it a good battle?" Clarisse asks, gleefully

"We are in battle against the last of Gaia's forces and you would disagree about it being a good battle" Connor says

"You are just wanting the constant wars to end and enjoy your semi-retirement from a demigod lifestyle with your boyfriend" I continue

Everybody looks at Clarisse in shock. She isn't enjoying battle in the future? She has a boyfriend? What has happened to her?

"What happened?" Clarisse stuttered out

"A lot, which we will tell you later" I say

"When everyone comes that is" Connor continues

"How many people are coming?" I ask

Chiron hastily counts the number of people on his list "There are 21 people coming back, including the two of you"

"Oh and little us they finally notice you" Connor and I say to our younger selves (I will call the younger versions of characters by their initials e.g. Travis Stoll = TS)

"Really?" TS asks

"Yep" I say popping the 'p'

"The Aphrodite cabin has released a set of couples they call the 'Golden Set' and we are on it" Connor says

"The Golden Set" Silena pondered. It made my heart ache over how she died. "Maybe we should start that now?" She yelled. All of her siblings cheered in agreement.

"Who are the top 3 in the future then?" One of the Aphrodite girls asked

"The top 3 in the future, from 3rd to first are:" I begin

"Tratie" Connor says, while I blush

"Solangelo" I continue

"And Percabeth" We say in unison.

"At least in the future we keep our game on" CS whispers to TS as he nods

"So, will you finally say your titles?" TS asks his future self

"Oh yes, I am Travis Stoll, Son of Hermes, former co-head counselor of the Hermes cabin, Survivor of the Battle of the Labyrinth, Battle of Manhattan, Battle of Camp Half-Blood, Veteran of the Second Titan War and the Second Giant War" I say

"And I am Connor Stoll, Son of Hermes, Head Counselor of the Hermes Cabin, Survivor of the Battle of the Labyrinth, Battle of Manhattan, Battle of Camp Half-Blood, Veteran of the Second Titan War and the Second Giant War" Connor says

"What are you talking about, with those battles and wars?" Clarisse asked

"Those are what we have been brought to the past to tell you about" Connor says

"We will go into detail when everyone else turns up" I say

At that moment, I see my love, Katie and Miranda come through a bright light fighting some telkhines.
