15. The savior

Sid's point of view

"Siddharth...No.." I heard james screaming before I pulled the trigger and the gunshot hear aloud.

Nick and James are look at him with shocked. He screamed in pain. My gun is still pointing to him. I shot him in his leg. I so wanted to put a bullet in his head but at last point Preeti's face came in front of eyes. She wants to stop me. She didn't want me to take anyone's life and I am not a murderer.

Preeti needs me and I wanted to be with her right now. I gave the punishment who tried to harm her and they will never dare to hurt her again in future.

Nick snatched the gun from my hand and tuck it at the back of his pants. I took a deep breath to calm myself. When I get back my senses back I looked around me. Nick and James already beat the rest three of them and they are mourning in pain while one of them is laying on the floor unconscious who tried to choked me from behind and I beat him till he lost his consciousness. I also shocked at my reaction. I had never been that angry before, maybe I was, when that office guy, kartik try hurt Preeti.

Preeti is my weakness and everyone knows that. They will face my wreath if someone try to hurt her.

She is my everything.

I run my fingers in my hair and cupped the back of my neck while looking around. We heard the police siren and soon there are two cars of police.

Officers came and arrest the all five of them. An officer walked to me and shook his hand to me.

"Officer Willi knight..Mr. Kapoor. Your father called us and told everything about attack on your wife and sister. We recorded the statements of your wife and sister and they gave us whole details."

I nodded my head while shaking my hand with his.

"Have done all this?" He asked me while looking around.

I don't want to hide anything. I had done what every husband and brother should do when someone touched your wife and sister inappropriately.

I nodded my head while maintaining my poker face.

"Don't worry..They all are goons and history cheaters. But you have to come with us for the official complaint and also we have to put some charges on you to take a law in your hands." He said.

I think this man is new in city. He doesn't know who I am. No one can touched me without my permission. These past two years is enough to let the world know who is Siddharth Kapoor and what he can do. But I always make sure not to use my power for support wrong work.

This man makes me irritated now. I want to be with Preeti and his official works makes me late and restless. I was about to give him some peace of my mind when James come to us.

"Officer.. I am his lawyer James Watson. I think we need a talk." James said to officer while shaking his hand to him.

"Sid you should go home. Preeti is waiting for you. I will take care of the official work." James said, looking at me.

I nodded my head and walked to my car. I don't have to worry about the charges and official work. I know James will take care of everything. He is best in his work.

It's already one in the morning when I reached home.

"Sid...." Mom rushed to me as soon as I walk into the living room.

Dad and keerti followed behind her.

"Are you alright?..Where had you gone?" She asked stroking her hands all over my body checking I am injured.

I looked at Keerti. She doesn't have any injury but she is also in shock. Her presence of mind save her and Preeti's life. I caressed her cheek in a brotherly manner.
