Phoenix Hendrick is your average teenage girl, with a vampire for a best friend. Phoenix, or more commonly known as Nix, has fire red hair and reddish-orange eyes. Her friend, Lillian Hale is a vampire. In fact she is Rosalie Hales long lost sister. Lillian has dirty blonde hair and golden eyes. As a vampire she drinks animal blood instead of human blood, that's what makes her eyes golden.
She was turned two years after Rosalie's 'disappearance'. Phoenix and Lillian met one day at school and became fast friends. And ever since Nix's parents were killed in an avalanche, she has considered Lillian her sister. Nix knows what Lily is and has helped her try to find her sister. Lillian believes that her sister died, but since no body was found, Nix has tried to convince her she was turned. The next stop on their expedition to find Rosalie Hale, was Forks, Washington.
