Shivika were sitting on the sofa which was red and decorated beautifully.

Shivaay saw Anika coming there with a smile

"Beautiful", he whispered looking at her without blinking his eyes

Anika stopped hearing his voice and turned toward him.

"I... I mean decorations. I loved these designs so much. If comfortable will you work in my company as a designer? I am sure everyone will love your decorations", he said while looking here and there as he was not having any excuse to save himself

Anika smiled and nodded

"Yes I will but after a proper interview as I don't want people to think that you took me because I am your wife", she said and blushed as it mean a lot to her. She always dreamt of a happy life with her husband

"Umm.. can we talk. Privately", he stammered and looked down as her smile was making him sad because she is so happy with marriage unlike him

"Yes, sure even I want to know you. Regarding the job so I was searching for a job that's why I agreed", she cleared and gestured for him to come

"Poolside", he said and Anika followed him

Shivaay asked Anika to sit and looked down again

"Any problem? Do you have any girlfriend? If you have then it's fine I will say no don't worry", she said politely sensing regret in his voice when he called her name

"No ... I don't have any I... I", he stammered and looked down again

Anika held his hands and asked him to continue without any hesitance

"Anika is a good girl. She is perfect for you... Agrr these were the words that dadi said to me for you", said Shivaay and took his hand back. Anika hesitantly took her hand back as she felt insulted. She thought she will have been right but now she felt maybe he is uncomfortable

"H...hmm ok", she said and smiled

"About marriage Anika, you should know that I am marrying you because you are a sister of Daksh", he said while looking here and there

"Can you say directly what you want to say", asked Anika as she understood this is not what he meant. He was scared to tell something which is not this

"So... Everyone is happy because you are a well-educated girl ", he said and this angered Anika

"Tell me directly Mr.", She asked

"That... I don't believe in marriage relations... I won't be able to consider you as your wife... I... I can't", He said being scared but this shocked Anika to the core

"W...what do you want to say... Tell clearly", she asked being terrified

"That I..... Y...You will be a wife for the whole world I will give you the respect you need you can do whatever you want to but I don't want to fall in love it will destroy me", he said and remembered how Shakti and Pinky killed each other when they were lovers

He shivered remembering the past and  Anika noticed a change in his behaviour so she asked

"Past", asked Anika being confused

"It shouldn't matter", he said in his cold voice as he don't want to show his weak side to anyone

"It does because we are going to marry Mr Shivaay Singh Oberoi", she said angrily

"But I don't want to tell this to anyone", he said angrily

"I just called to tell you that after marriage I won't stop you to do anything there will be no restriction from my side you can do whatever you want to but... I won't be able to consider you as a wife... Not because it's arranged marriage just because I don't think a relationship like marriage goes smoothly... Those who fell in love are the ones who kill each other", he said and tears were about to come but he turned aside

"Leave it ... In short I hate marriages but I trust dadi that's why I am marrying you because she wants to see me married", he said looking into her eyes

Anika looked at him with teary eyes and left there saying

"I don't want any marriage then", she said and left from there.

She came inside the guest room and started crying remembering his words.  She thought she will get a happy life and respect in marriage but no he don't even believe in marriage then how he will respect her as a wife

She wanted to tell the world that she is not like her mother but destiny was taking her somewhere else

"I thought I will get a happy love life...that respect which I wanted but on the first day I...", She stopped when she heard Shivaay's voice

"Please don't cry. Don't worry I...I will break this marriage you are a nice girl you will get many good alliances. Also, I will not stop you to work in my company. I told this first  day as I don't want you to think that why I didn't tell before", he cleared his reason and sat near her

Anika wiped her tears and sat a foot away from him

"If you changed your mind and thought to marry me then keep one thing in mind you will get respect. I promise that I will not look at another girl than you. You will get everything rather than love. I hate Love", he said with a pinch of anger and tried Holding her hand slowly

"I don't believe in marriages. I don't want to tell much as I don't want to remember my past but that doesn't mean I will destroy your dreams. You can happily accept someone else as your life partner too I will never come in between", he said while looking into her eyes.

"Don't worry. I will tell Daksh about your job that what you will need and other things. regarding marriage so let it be I will ask dadi to cancel it ", he said and left from there. While leaving he thought that many Anika will stop him but she didn't

Anika was numb to react as today is her chunri rasam and her to-be husband told her that he will never consider her as a wife. That means  he will consider her as a friend for a lifetime

Anika wiped her tears and washed her face

"It happens Anika you should be happy that he told this before", she said trying to calm herself but was unable to. She wanted to hug someone who will tell her that doesn't cry but she knows she can't let herself weak now

After washing her face she came out and saw dadi who was searching for her and called her now

"I was searching you beta", she said and caressed her head

Anika felt bad as she was treating her like her own child and she is going to break this alliance

"D...dadi", said Shivaay and stood near Anika
