XIII. LEARNING MORE

Nikita POV

All the staff went. I was standing with Ms. Kabra. "Mayra mam asked you to call her. She tried calling you, but your phone not reachable. So, she called me and told me to do so after meeting with the staff. So, can I call her?" She asked. "Okay." I answered. She connected the call and said to Mayra, "Good evening mam! Nikita mam will talk to you now. She gave her phone to me and left.

Nikita: Hello.

Mayra: Hi. It's me. You good?

Nikita: Yes. And you?

Mayra: Super stressed! Lot of work to do. How is your day going?

Nikita: Fine.

Mayra: Is something wrong with your phone? I tried calling you, but the phone didn't connect. Why was that?

Nikita: There is nothing wrong with the phone. It's just that...... there is no balance in the phone.

Mayra: Okay! Did you meet the staff?

Nikita: Yes. I met them.

Mayra: Okay then! Bye.

Nikita: Bye.

The call ended. I kept the phone on the sofa. Few minutes later I received a message. I opened it. It said, "Your account has been recharged with Rs 2999. Enjoy unlimited calling, browsing, messaging for a period of 12 months." I realized that it was done by Mayra, as I had told only her about this.

It was 5.20, when Ms. Kabra asked me, if I would like to have some snacks and coffee. All this was very new for me. Just 3-4 days ago, I was the one who was doing my every kind of work, including preparing food and now suddenly I have workers doing all my work. I said to myself that how life takes turn. Ms. Kabra came with a cup of tea and gave it to me. I took it from her.

It was about 8 in the evening and Mayra was still to come. Although she had told me not to wait for her, but still I decided to wait. Couple hours went by and I was still waiting for my wife. I was sitting on the dining table all the time. Then few minutes later she came, but she was not alone. She was with a beautiful girl. They were walking very close to each other, with Mayra's arm around the girl's waist. Mayra didn't even look at me and went straight away to her room with the girl. Few minutes later I remembered about her conditions. I felt sad, but I could not help it. So, I decided to eat food.

After having food, I went to my room. I was able to hear loud noises from the neighboring room, as my balcony was open. I went to check. I moved to the room right to mine and heard nothing. Then I moved to the room left to mine, which was Mayra's. I collected that the noise was coming from her room. Later I went back to my room and I was still able to hear the noise. I realized that noise is not normal. It was a noise of pleasure. Mayra and that girl were having sex. I felt very sad. I jumped on the bed and tried to sleep, but was unable to. I took some cotton and put them in my ears went back to bed. Few minutes later I felt asleep.

It's been more than a week; I haven't seen my wife. As she used to come late in the night and go early in the morning. Every night I was able to hear noise from her room. I had called my boss and requested her to take me back to work. She was not happy about it as my mother had talked to her very rudely and had insulted her, when she told her about leaving job. After requesting her for like 100 times she finally agreed and I was happy. After 3 days my school was going to start, as I had received my result and school reopening date 2 days back. I had secured 9.8 CGPA and was topper of my school. And a big decision was there in front of me of choosing one stream among Science, Arts and Commerce. I had to tell Mayra about the school opening, but I didn't get the opportunity to talk to her, so I decided to wake up at 4 a.m. next morning and sit in the living room, so I can talk to her.
