"Squirrels," you breathed out in disbelief.
As you stood right next to the ex-Student Council member Yoriichi, the both of you watched as Kokushibou, his twin brother, was getting chased by squirrels at the park.
The delinquent was visibly uncomfortable by the rally of squirrels—which numbered to about seven—following his every move. It was clear he was trying his best not to step on them whilst also attempting to shoo them off at the same time.
"Yeah," Yoriichi confirmed quietly.
It was honestly a refreshing sight for you. Kokushibou had always been one of the most hostile to you out of the group of delinquents, so it was quite nice to see him awkwardly dance around to park in trials to rid of his squirrel following. Luckily for him, there was almost no people around this particular area of the park.
"So you called me all the way over here," you began, forcing yourself to tear your eyes away from the delinquent and face the ex-Council member, "to help you free your brother from a cult of squirrels?"
With his usual blank expression, Yoriichi simply nodded at you.
"I was thinking," Yoriichi trailed off.
He reached towards a flap of his coat, opening up a large side pocket and beckoning you to look inside. You recoiled (and even sweat-dropped) at the sight of the pocket almost filled to the brim with acorns. How Yoriichi was able to collect this many, you'd never know.
