Vanessa stood in the kitchen, scrolling on her phone, waiting for her toast to pop out of the toaster.

"Evening." Usnavi said, walking past her.

"Evening." Vanessa murmured under her breath.

"Can you at least talk to me?" Usnavi asked.

"Can you not run out on me when I'm trying to have a conversation with you?" Vanessa snapped. She couldn't hold it anymore. She had been so close to loosing her shit over the past few days, she couldn't handle him anymore.

"Really? That's what this is about?"

"I was trying to have a fucking serious conversation with you! You could have done literally anything other than run out of the door at full speed!" She cried.

"You're being irrational." He stated.

"I'm not being fucking irrational!" Tears spilled from the eyes and trailed down her cheeks. He hugged her close to his chest and petted her long, silky hair. "I'm just so tired of being trampled all over!"

"Shh..." Usnavi soothed.

"I just..." she tried to speak, but was interrupted.

"No, no. Don't talk." Usnavi whispered to her. "Deep breaths. Deep breaths." Once he noticed her breath had slowed he started talking again. "Let's sit down and discuss this like mature adults, ok?"

"Mhm..." she pulled away and wiped the tears from her cheeks that turned dark from her eyeshadow. "Let me wash my face real quick."
Usnavi sat on the sofa, waiting for her in silence. He felt so... guilty. So guilty that he literally friend zoned the love of his life. She sat next to him, hands folded in her lap tightly.

"I'm sorry." Usnavi whispered.

"It's alright." Vanessa told him, still staring at her hands.

"Vanessa, I love you too."

"I'm sorry wha-" he cut her off by softly pressing his lips to hers. She kissed him back, smiling on his lips. He pulled her on his lap, cradling her. It was great, really great.

"Bitch! Ohh" a female voice came. The two pulled apart and Peggy Schuyler dragged Vanessa out of the dorm with a stupid smile on her face, Eliza and Nina following her. Angelica sat on the floor of the dorm, a stern look on her face.

"Usnavi." Angelica said firmly.

"Yes Angie." He replied meekly. Something the two hid, was an amazing bond and friendship, but Angelica still scared him.

"I can't believe it finally happened!" Angelica squealed, clapping her hands.

"Ange you scared me..."

"Sorry! Dirty chai and spill?" Angelica asked.

"Sure, Angie."

The two settled at a table in a local Starbucks, sipping their drinks.

Angelica straightened her pink sweater before speaking. "Soooo. Spill the shit, bitch."

"So, I'm sure you were made aware of the previous situation." Usnavi started.

"Uh no. Talk you pineapple." Angelica ordered.

"So, um, she kinda confessed her love I guess and I ran out on her, that's when I went to your place." Usnavi told.

"Damn Navi..."

"Yeah. So, Peggy gave me a bike ride, they biked off, and we haven't talked in a week."

"How the shit did Peggy give you a bike ride?" Angie asked, leaning in.
