Emily's Pov
This was going to be hard.I knew JJ and Reid were really close, but I don't think he even told his best friend. I just wondered why he could keep this from us.
"What's going on Emily?" JJ asked. How do I tell her? He's been keeping this from us for so long. Maybe he didn't know. I have no idea. But I have to tell her.
"I have good news and bad news. The good news is Calvin Shaw has been found. He turned himself him not too long ago. So we know it want him." Luke told her.
"And the bad news?" JJ asked.
"So we were looking into Reids life, because well, it's protocol for this certain situation as you. Back to the point, we looked into his family life, see if anyone would have a grudge against him. Well we saw that something that none of us expected." Matt explained.
"And?" JJ asked with a confused voice.
"He has a brother. He went away for murder when he was Reid was 14. His name is James Barron Reid. He's been in prison for over 26 years. He killed his own best friend." Tara added.
"Why didn't he tell us this?" JJ questioned. The truth is, none of us know. But we know now.
"I don't know Jayge, but there's more. He also escaped. Two months ago.
Then, we all saw Spencer walking back into the station. He looked over at JJ with mean eyes. I wondered what had happened between them. But I didn't have time to worry about that right now.
Everyone had their share of looks at him. It was hard not to, given the circumstances.
"You guys know, don't you?" He mumbled.
"About your brother? Yeah, we do." I said.
Spencer's Pov
Damn. I've kept this a secret for so long now.
"Okay, but he's your brother. Why would he have something against you?" Rossi asked me. I was hoping this wouldn't come up. But might as well tell them now.
"Because I was the one who turned him in."
