"What I will do if I got her trust? What if she fall for me but I didn't? Do you think that she will like my priorities then? Will she compromise? Do you think she will not expect love from my side as well? I don't want her to feel trapped here", asked Shivaay and looked towards his brothers for answers now. Till now they were asking and he was answering but not anymore. He needs explanations now
"Bhaiya then it doesn't mean you will make her feel unwanted in your life", Rudra broke his silence because he understood what was his brother talking about. He personally like Anika. Her behaviour is so cool. He will love her as his sister but he wants her happiness as well.
"Shivaay leave this to her. We are talking about you. Ok, it's fine if you can't love her but at least try to behave that you are in a relationship. Make her feel that she will be happy here with you. Do you know you both have to share a room after marriage? ", Asked Om to which Shivaay nodded
"Then Shivaay what will you do? Just think about your future once. Even dadi was married. Mom dad as well as many other couples. If you can't love her at least respect her as a wife... Try to show her that even you accept this relationship", told Om. Shivaay kept quiet as he won't have any answers now. Om is somewhere right but how can he go on a date with her whom he rarely knows? They are going to marry because it's dadi's wish not his
"You know what now I am feeling like I was mad who came to make you understand something. You can't change. You are going to hurt her daily I'm sure. Let's go Rudra", said Om after standing up. Rudra too stood up and they left from there. Shivaay wanted to stop them but no words came out of his mouth. He was confused about whether to call Anika to go on dinner with him? What she will think about him? What if she denied it?
He looked at the retreating figure of his brothers and chuckled sadly
"No one can understand me", he whispered and called Anika. He knew his brothers will not forgive him till he go with Anika so he thought to accept the change. He doesn't know whether he will be able to accept Anika from his heart but for his family, he is ready to try.
"Hii. It's me Shivaay", he said when Anika picked his call up
"Hii ok. Anything important?", She asked
"Tomorrow is engagement so...", He stammered because he don't know how she will react. He never talked with a girl like this and dating was something impossible for him. He never thought about dates in his dreams even
"Jii yes so?", Asked Anika in a sweet voice. She understood he want to talk about something but he is unable to voice it out
"So ca... can we ....go somewhere together? .....You can see my.... office and we.. will have dinner together", he stammered because he don't know how to ask for a date and where to go so at first he just asked for the office
In response, Anika started laughing
"Shivaay are you serious? Hahaha", she laughed loudly which irritated him
"What ?", He asked angrily. Here he is serious but she is making fun of his feelings. That is the reason he wanted to give time but his brothers want everything early
"N... nothing if you are fine I will come. I mean is there anything important?", She asked because a few days ago he said he don't want to accept her as his wife but now he wants to go with her and have dinner together
"Yes I... Am ....just want to know you more before marriage", he said
"Ok I will come with you.. even I want to know about your likes and dislikes habits. Then we will eat ice cream together ok?", asked Anika excitedly. She was happy that Shivaay asked her to come with him even though she want to know him better. She is not the type of girl who will feel shy to go out with her to-be-husband. Even she wants to know about his likes and dislikes everything
"Ok", he replied with a smile because Anika agreed without any argument. He now realised what Om said was true somewhere because Anika agreed easily like she was waiting for him to proceed.
"One more thing Shivaay I will understand you. You don't need to stress yourself. I am happy you are trying to give this marriage a chance it means a lot but hope you are comfortable in it. You told me a few things about your past na so I can guarantee you will never regret marrying me", said Anika. Somewhere from his voice, she felt that he was asking her to go out together before of someone's pressure or maybe because he felt he should give them a chance. She is ready to give him the time which he needs
"It should be my question", he replied. He smiled hearing Anika's reply. Even if they don't fall in love he will never forget a girl like Anika who is trying to understand him. Now even he wants to know her better
"No problem. Aacha Gauri is calling me we will talk tomorrow if you are fine?", she said to which Shivaay hummed and asked her to go
"Good night", wished Anika. Shivaay smiled hearing her wish. He never replied to these wishes normally as these were silly according to him but just for her he replied back
"Good night", he wished back. He is the person who never replied good morning wishes at home and office as well but here he did what he felt right _________
In morning
Shivaay asked Khanna about arrangements and he said that everything is ready. Oberoi mansion was decorated beautifully with red, pink and white roses. He was checking arrangements when Anika came inside Mansion. He was mesmerized by seeing her beauty. He was wearing a black suit

Dadi called Shivaay who was staring at Anika. She was looking very beautiful. Anika passed a smile towards him and went towards Omru who called her. Shivaay looked toward dadi who asked him to sit on the chair
Before Anika and Omru could talk dadi called Anika as well. She came near Anika and helped her to sit with him. Gauri also came there with a ring and showed dadi
Dadi was about to say something when Shivaay interrupted her
"Dadi they purchased it for me it's ok", he said to dadi because dadi was about to tell her that they brought the ring before only but this is not good. It will not matter to them if they will not use the ring but it will matter if he will not use Anika's ring because they must have spent their salary
"Gauri gives this ring to Anika I will wear it", he said and passed a smile towards dadi who nodded. Dadi understood why he said that so she gave the extra ring to Omru. Even she doesn't have any problem if Shivaay is fine
"I'm sorry it's not much expensive and a good ring. I see you purchased it already so we can use that ", said Anika and looked down because in from of Oberoi's they are nothing and the ring is not much costly as well. She doesn't want to feel insulted so before opening the ring she suggested? ________
