Alright guys, I decided to give y'all another view. This is Jenny's mate, Titus' point of vew. Through out the story, I will try to throw his voice in at times. Let me know what you think. Hope y'all enjoy. :D

Titus’ POV

As the other Councilmen and I ran over the King’s borders, a faint yet sweet smell hit me. I knew that whoever it belonged to was no longer in the area. As the house came into view, the four of us shifted and quickly untied our clothes from around our ankles and pulled them on.

I could see the king waiting on the porch for us and we quickly made our way towards him. Once inside the pack house, I caught small patches of that same scent and it was driving my wolf crazy. He was begging me to hunt the source down, but we weren’t here for that.

I suddenly realized that I zoned out long enough to miss most of what the king as talking about, but I didn’t let on. A soft, timid knock sounded on the door behind us and the king called for them to enter. The second the door swung open, I smelled her; my mate.

Roman, my wolf, wanted to grab her and mark her where she stood. I watched as she slowly walked towards the king and I couldn’t help but notice she looked thinned than I would have expected. Once we get her to our pack, we’ll change that. Roman growled softly and I agreed with him.

I couldn’t take my eyes off of her, she was so beautiful. Her eyes drifted from each Councilman to the next as she nodded at them. I was disappointed when it was my turn and she dropped her eyes to where I couldn’t see them.

She took a seat beside the desk and I had to bite back the growl I felt working its way out of my throat when King Winters placed his hand on her shoulder. I didn’t like him touching what was mine and Roman agreed with me. I watched as she slowly lifted her hand and started making gestures with them.

It wasn’t until Winters started speaking softly that I realized something. My mate was mute. I just sat there listening to his words, my eyes glued to her face. You will not reject her, human. She’s our mate, our other half, and she’s perfect for us.

I wasn’t thinking of rejecting her Roman. I would have to be out of my mind to reject her. I don’t care if she can’t talk, she’s mine. I blocked Roman so I could focus on what the King was saying. “Thank you Jenny. I know that wasn’t easy. You can leave now.”

Jenny. Her name fit her rather well. I watched as she left the room, and I heard her head down the hall were the guest rooms were. “Only one clan of hunters chose curved blades as their weapon of choice.” The second Councilman spoke.

“The Marcello’s, I’ve fought them on several occasions.” I spoke up, as I looked around the room. “They fight to kill and use every dirty trick in the book to gain the upper hand. But I have never heard of them just attacking a small pack like that. They usually take down two or three of us at a time.”

“The Dark Moon wasn’t just a normal pack. They are, were, special wolves. The kings before me used them as agents in time of war. They could get into anyone’s territory and get out before anyone figured out they were there. In the last few hundred years or so, most of our kind have forgotten about them.

“There was no major war, so we didn’t have to call on them. They’ve been hidden away, waiting. We thought they were safe, but they weren’t. Someone had to give their location to the Marcellos.”

We spoke for hours, planning on how to track the mole down. After that, we got around to making a ghost of plans on how and when we would strike the Marcellos. One by one the other Councilmen stepped out of the office until it was just the King and I left inside. “Winters, I’d like to speak to you about Jenny.”

I knew instantly that I had his full attention. “What about her?” He asked, looking at me. “Do you know where she’s been since her pack was killed?”

“She told me that she spent the past twelve years living with a pack of wild wolves.”

“Why didn’t she talk earlier?” I knew the answer but I just had to hear it from him. “Jenny’s mute Titus, ever since birth. I’m not sure if she’s able to speak through links since she’s not part of my pack and I’m not sure if she’s found her mate yet or not.

“She hasn’t told me why she came here and I haven’t asked. Joel says that she’s faster than any wolf he’s ever known. And she’s a pretty good fighter. Why are you asking Titus? It’s not like you to show interest in femme wolves.”

I sighed and stood up. He watched me as I started to pace. “She’s my mate Wayne. But I don’t know how to proceed. I can tell that she hasn’t been around our kind since she lost everything and I don’t want to rush her.”

“She’s not fragile Titus. She’s strong; a fighter. I would suggest that you be honest and yourself. But most of all,” he says as I turn to look at him, “Give her time to adjust.” He smiled at me and walked towards the door. “Now, what do you say we go grab a bite to eat?” I smile back at him and follow him to the dining room. I couldn’t help but notice that Jenny wasn’t eating.

As I made her a small plate, I couldn’t help but notice that Wayne was smiling his face off as he watched me. I just rolled my eyes at him before following Jenny’s scent to her room. Once I reach her door, I knock several times and wait for her to answer.
