It's been hours since Carlos was taken into surgery and he still isn't out. I told faith to take Adriana home since she was getting cranky
"He will be okay Lexi" Luca said as he patted my back as I cried
"I can't lose someone else. I already lost Diego and Amelia, I can't lose Carlos" I said and Dante came over and tried to calm me down, but failed
"Like I am barely hanging on, the only reason I am ok is because Carlos is keeping me sane" I said as I started sobbing
Suddenly I felt someone hug me tightly I look up and saw it was Alessandro
"Calm down Lexi" he said and I melted in his arms
I missed his hugs, but he hurt me
I immediately let go and went to sit on a random chair
"Excuse me are you here for Carlos Martinez" the doctor said and I immediately got up
"Yes. Is he okay?" I asked
"Yes. He was lucky. The bullet missed every vital organs and landed on a rib. There was a lot of internal bleeding from the rib breaking and piercing other organs." the doctor said
"So is he okay?" I asked and the doctor nodded
"Yes. He will need to stay for 2 days so we can observe him. I can take you to him now if you would like" he said and I nodded
We walked to his room and he was laying in the hospital bed. I ran over to him and hugged him.
"Oh my god, I thought I would lose you. Never do that again" I said and he laughed
"I will never leave you" Carlos said and he kissed me
"This is all my fault if I just had my gun on me I could've just killed him. This is my fault" I said as I started crying and he stared at me

"Lexi. The only person at fault is the man who shot me, did they doctor retrieve the bullet" Carlos asked while wiping my tears and I shrugged
"I didn't ask. I needed to make sure you were okay before we turn crazy" I said and the doctor walked in
"Did you recover the bullet" I asked the doctor and he nodded and handed over the bullet
"Do you know what it is" I asked Carlos, since he knows some things about bullets...psycho
"Yup. It's a 9mm bullet but the design on it even though it's squished I think it's the Italian mafia logo they put on their bullets" Carlos said and I nodded
"Do you think it was Marco?" I said and he shrugged
"I don't know, but who ever it is will pay" Carlos said
