Lexi's P.O.V

We walked over to my office where I stopped Carlos before entering.

"Wait" I said and he stopped

"I will be leading this. Just sit back and enjoy. All the questions I'm going to ask I already know the answer so don't question me. Just follow my lead" I said and Carlos nodded

"Understood. But just so you know. I know William is innocent" Carlos said and I rolled my eyes

We walked into the office and William was tied and gagged to a chair.

We walked over to him and he was asleep, I looked over at Carlos and gave him a smirk

"Wakey Wakey William. Time to answer questions" I asked as I shook him awake

He abruptly woke up and saw me shaking him. He tried to talk but then he realized he was gagged.

" you are probably wondering why you are here. Let's get straight into it. I think you are a traitor and Carlos doesn't so you aren't leaving this room until you prove TO ME that you aren't a traitor" I saw as I picked up a knife and started twirling it

" Stop Lexi. He isn't a rat. Stop trying to scare him" Carlos said and I shrugged

"Fine. Since Carlos trusts you...idiot... I will give you a chance to explain why you aren't innocent if you are lying to me and I will know. You will get hurt. So let's begin okay?" I said and William nodded

I walked over and took of the gag and stepped back

"Talk. Time is a wasting. The longer you take the less I believe you" I said and he nodded

"I can't believe you think I would do something like this. I am not a rat" William said and I rolled my eyes.

"William. I am going to tell you why I think you are a rat and you will tell me the reason why you did those things okay" I said and he nodded

"Okay. Let me hear them" William said and I nodded

"Question 1. Do you have the passwords for the security cameras"

"Yes. I do" he answered

"So. You also know where all the blindspots are since you have access to all the information being our second in command" I asked and he nodded

"Did you help Marco sneak into our warehouse. Look into my eyes when you answer" I said

He looked straight into my eyes and said no. I saw it for just a split second he looked away

"Liar" I said and his eyes widened

I grabbed the knife and made a cit on his forearm from his elbow to his shoulder which made him wince in pain

"Oops. I guess I should've said I HATE liars" I said as I smiled

"Question 2. Were you mad when Diego announced Carlos and I as leaders" I asked

"WHAT. NO. I was excited to meet the people Diego always bragged about. I heard all the stories about your jobs as assassins and was excited to meet both of y'all" William said and I shrugged

"So you weren't mad that you were going to be second in command to teenagers. Who have never led a mafia over you who has been Diego's second since forever" I asked and he clenched his jaw

"No. I understood. Family gets the family" he said

"But we aren't family. When he asked us I would say we were enemies. Carlos almost killed him and I didn't like or trust him at all. That's a weird definition of family. Don't you think" I said and saw him clenching his fist until it turned white
