Jungwon's POV

"A silver ring?" I repeated and mom just hummed as her reply.

I knitted my brows together 'cause, I remembered that Jay's ring is silver too. Coincidence?

"Can you send me a picture, mom?" I asked.

"Okay, wait up" She said and hung up.

I waited for a few moment then, felt my phone vibrated. I clicked the picture and was surprised at how similar it is to Jay's but, it's kinda smaller than the ring he's wearing.

Mom called again and so, I picked up.

"Is this yours?" Mom asked.

"Not sure, mom. I don't remember having that kind of ring" I said.

"Ah, is that so?" Mom said.

"Yeah, you can get rid of it if you want" I said.

"Are you sure?" Mom asked.

"Yes, mom" I said.

"Alright. Bye, Wonwon-ah" She said.

"Bye mom" I said and ended the call.

I looked at his direction who's currently standing there like he's thinking so deeply.

I walked close to him. "I'm sorry. Mom called me" I said and he just looked at me.

"It's fine" He said.

"What do you want to say to me again?" I asked remembering that he's saying something earlier.

I waited for his response but, he just ended up shaking his head. "It's nothing. I'll get going now"

"But—"

"See you tomorrow, my Choco ball" He just said and left.

Jay's POV

"So, tell us what happened" Sunghoon said and sat beside Jake.

"How does the confessing turned out?" Jake asked.

"I didn't even get to confess" I honestly said.

"What?!" Both of them exclaimed and even stood up at the same time.

"Don't tell me you didn't confess because, you're coward side changed your mind?!" Sunghoon spat.

"That's not it. I was about to confess but, Jungwon's mom called in the middle of our conversation" I said and the two of them sat down again.

"Hmm, I see" Sunghoon said.

"Maybe, that wasn't the right time for you to confess" Jake said.

"Then, when?!" Sunghoon asked.

"I don't know. Maybe, something needs to happen first?" Jake said.
