Shopping and Doctor

Lizzie's POV:

When I woke up I felt weight ontop of me. I open my eyes and see Evelyn ontop of me. Well. Under my shirt actually. I quickly lift my shirt up only for Evelyn to pull back over her head. I giggle at her.

"Baby you gotta get up fron there" Instead of getting up she moved more higher. I quickly stoped her. "Hey we gotta get up now. We need to go somewhere."

After having that interaction, I realized she loves skin to skin contact. It was a little weird at first.

We head to the shops and I buy everything I need for her. I decided to buy baby bottles since last night incident. I always get her a pacifier.

I also booked a doctor's appointment for her. I want to make sure she is doing okay.

Evelyn is currently sitting in the cart and being quiet. Something grabs her attention and she starts to tug on my sleeves.

"What is it honey" She points at the rack full of stuff animals. I walk towards it and pick the little Elephants. "You want this?"

"No, that!" She points again. She hasn't spoked very much. I want to make sure she can atleast a little bit. So i decided to test her.

"Okay I don't know what that is. Your gonna have to tell me which one you want" She wines, and keeps pointing. That's when I realize she wants the bunny.

"Its a bu-"

"Bunny!"

"Good job" I give it to her and she hugs it really tight.

We are currently at the doctor's. Evelyn is sitting down in the little bed swinging her legs. With her little bunny of course.

There a knock at the door. "Hello, Ms. Olsen. I am Doctor William." He says as he shakes my hand. "What is your little girl here for"

"Well she is not really mine. I kinda found her at the park alone. I took her with me seeing that her parents weren't around. I notice that she doesn't speak as much and she is really small."

"Oh wow. So you been taking care of her. Okay for legal reason we can't check her up since your not her parents. We will have to file a police report for her."

Wait what?

"After that we can check on her and her growth. Do you know anything?"

"I have asked about her parents. She only said her dad was bad. Like I said she doesn't speak much"

Evelyn POV:

Momm- I mean Lizzie currently taken me to this weird place. A guy comes in and starts questioning. I don't really pay attention. I am playing with Mr. Snuggles. Yes I named him that.

"We have to file a police report"

That's when I look up. Police? No I don't want them to take me.

Lizzie moves more next to me. She also looks worried. I don't understand anything. The doctor leaves after a few minutes.

Lizzie sighs and then turns to me. She cups my face and smiles.

"Everything will be okay. I got you" she tells me and I sipply nod. I give her Mr. Snuggles to her.

"H-hug"

"You want to bug Mr. Bunny here"

"Snwuggle, Mr. Sn-Snwuggle" She scrunches her nose and hugs him. I clap my hands. She then hugs me.

A lady comes in the room. "Ms the officers are here"

Lizzie nods and then the lady leaves. She turns back around.

"No" I hold on her arm. They are gonna take me away. I know it.

"No what baby"

"Take away" Lizzie furrows her eyebrows and shakes her head.

"No, no. No one will take you away from me I promise. I will make sure." I look down at my lap. She lifts my chin up

"Hey, look i got an idea. Call me your mom okay. If they try to take you away from me call for me okay."

"You, mommy"

She nods her head. "Yea, yes that call me that okay. Surely they will let me keep you."

She picks me up and we go out the room. I quickly kiss her cheek and she turns around and smiles. But its a sad one. I don't want them to take me away again.
