Ch. 9

                                                   Devin POV 

I was in Detective William's office. bored out of my skull. bouncing a small rubber ball off the opposite wall. as I caught it with my hand . 

I was bored. so freaking bored. the BAU did get their panties in a wad just because I was looking for my mother on my own. 

And came across information they couldn't obtain themselves. 

I do home my mom is okay. I thought. 

Then suddenly a bing was heard on Detective's computer. 

I swiveled in my chair. seeing a window popped up. 

"Are you bored?" it said 

I looked around confused no one was watching. 

That's not creepy at all. I thought. 

"Who is this?" I typed 

"You tell me your name and I'll tell you mine..." It typed 

I looked at the username 

Lovekills. 

I thought for a minute. 

"Kelsey" I typed in 

"We both know that's not true now is it... Devin.." It said 

My eyes widen. 

"How did you know?' I asked 

"Do you want to see your mother?' It said 

I typed fast. 

"Yes more than anything." I typed 

A window to a video feed popped up. 

I clicked on it. 

There was my mother. tied to a wooden chair beaten. bloody. gagged with a piece of cloth. 

Her head hun low her chin laying on her chest. 

I stood up immediately. 

"Ahh. I've got your attention don't I?" The message said 

"What do you want? " I said 

"Many things. but Mostly to meet the child that took care of this piece of garbage. that couldn't care for her own offspring." It typed 

Tears welled up in my eyes. 

"Let her go." I typed 

"All in due time." It typed 

                                          Derek POV 

we were all looking at the leads Devin found. 

"You have to see this." JJ said turning on the TV

It showed Cami bound to a chair bloody and bruised badly injured. 

"Attention citizens of the world. this is what garbage looks like. such garbage that lacks the refine to care for not only themselves but their children." The voice said 

"Are you watching FBI? you have 48hrs to find me or she dies." The man said showing himself in the camera 

But he had a ghost mask on. 

"Find me in 48 hours and she lives. fail and she dies. I'm looking forward to ridding this earth of scum like her. I am a man of my word. let the clock start now." He said turning off the camera 

                                                 Devin POV 

I ran out of the room only to be caught by Derek. 

"Whoa. easy where's the fire?' He said 

Then he seen my state. 

"What's wrong?' He asked concerned. 

So I started explaining everything and guiding him into the office. 

I showed him the screen and the live feed of my mom but then suddenly the feed goes blank. 

"Okay wait here I'll get Will." Derek said 

"Butt..." I said in a panic

"It's okay Devin it'll be okay I promise.." He said
