Yeji's PoV

"Babe! Come on! I'm ready!" He called out from outside

I was busy rummaging in my closet to find the best outfit. Today is the day that I will be going back to Seoul. I have just finished my studies here in New Zealand and I applied in Seoul. Luckily, I got accepted.

"Coming!" I told him and I walked outside the house

He opened the passenger seat for me and he drove us to the airport.

This is Yeonjun. He's my boyfriend. We just got together 8 months ago. He is my classmate here in New Zealand and he was my rock after everything.

When we graduated, I immediately migrated here. I am so broken about Ryujin that I needed to flee the country to forget about her. That girl gave me a lot of happy memories but she also gave me a painful one.

"Babe, are you okay?" Yeonjun asked

"Y-Yes, babe. I'm just wondering about what my friends will think since I never told them that I will leave," I replied

"They'll be fine with it, babe. If they're your friends, they will understand you," He said and I nodded

The plane ride went quick. We have landed in Seoul and of course, we will be traveling to Jeonju so that my family will meet Yeonjun.

"I'm calling us a taxi, babe," He told me

"That's no need. My cousins will pick us up," I replied and he nodded

We just talked about stuff, mostly about our work. Yeonjun is just a year older than me and he is a surgeon and I am a pediatrician. We studied in the same med school in New Zealand and that's when our relationship blossomed. When I moved to New Zealand, it was just me and my aunt. I have no cousins here, which was boring. I also didn't know anyone but Yeonjun approached me and introduced me to his friends.

Nayeon and Chaeryeong? Well, we are still in touch but I haven't told them that I will be going back today. So, I messaged them. It's been a while since I've last seen my college friends. The basketball players still remained friends with me even though Ryujin and I broke up. I just never hang out with them when Ryujin's around.

"Yeji, it's been 30 minutes already. Where the hell are they?" Yeonjun asked. Annoyance was evident in his voice

"Yeji!" Someone called

I turned around just to see Momo, Soyeon, Hyunjin, and Felix. They immediately ran towards me and launched themselves.

"Doc!" Hyunjin said as he ruined my hair

"Ugh. Hyun!" I called out but he just ignored me

"And you're with someone?" Soyeon noticed

"Ah, yeah," I pulled Yeonjun's hand and he was just looking at them annoyingly

"This is Yeonjun, my boyfriend," I said

"Hm... The other one is definitely better," Momo whispered but I heard her

"It's nice to meet you but it would've been nicer if you weren't late," Yeonjun said

Yeonjun is a bit... arrogant. He likes having things go his way. Whatever he wants, he gets.

"It would've been nicer if you just shut your mouth," Felix replied

Yeonjun and Felix had a staring contest until Soyeon broke it off by chuckling.

"It was a joke, Yeonjun! Loosen up!" Soyeon said but we all know that it wasn't
