Chapter 26

Ryujin's PoV

"What's up, Hwangs?!"

"Ryujin!"

Everyone stood up from their seats as they welcomed me with a hug. Even Mr. and Mrs. Hwang! Even though Yeji and I broke up, I made sure that I was still in touch with them. I still play basketball with her cousins. I still play the piano for her Granddad and I still visit Mr. and Mrs. Hwang. Heejin is a part of their family and she made me a part of their family.

"Why didn't you show your ugly face for a year, huh?!" Jeongyeon asked and she hit me on my nape

I immediately scratched the back of my head.

"I was busy," I answered

"How are you doing, babe?" Heejin asked and she side-hugged me. I pecked a kiss on her temple

"Babe?!"

"You're already together?!"

"What the actual fuck?"

I laughed with their reactions. Their faces were so funny! Surprised is an understatement. They were flabbergasted! I removed Heejin's hand on my waist when I saw something I didn't like.

"Who the fuck puts a fucking suitcase on a fucking white couch?!" I asked as I walked closer to the couch

I grabbed the luggage and I dropped it down the floor. That couch is Yeji's grandfather's couch and it is not a place for a suitcase.

Then I felt that there are still people who are approaching us. I looked back and I was surprised. It was YJ. I was more surprised when I looked at the girl beside him. That girl that he is holding was the girl I used to hold. She is the girl that has never left my mind ever since and I don't think she will ever. She is the girl that I still hope would be mine but I give up. She's now with someone else and I'm happy.

I know that they are together. I used some of my connections to know Yeji's whereabouts. I had her guarded because I thought the club would go after her but I figured out that she already started going out so I stopped having her followed.

"Y-Yeji," I called out

She was just looking down. I smiled a little as I pulled her in for a hug. It was just a few seconds before I pulled away. I'm afraid I will do something that I will regret. I looked at the man beside him. He was surprised but he grinned before he reached out his hand. I accepted it

"Yeonjun's the name. Yeji's boyfriend," He introduced himself

"Clearly. Ryujin--" But I was cut off

"My! Girlfriend!" Heejin said and she interlocked her arms on mine

"Now! Since we're complete! Why don't we go back to eating?" Mrs. Hwang suggested and we obliged

I took place beside Heejin and she immediately served me food. I thanked her of course. I don't know if it's just me but everyone was silent.

"Are you staying for the night?" Felix asked

I swallowed what was left in my mouth and I wiped my mouth with the table napkin that was resting on my lap.

"I mean, if I still have something to sleep on, why not?" I replied and Yeji's cousins' eyes went to Yeonjun

"What's wrong?" Yeonjun asked

"Nothing," Soyeon faked a smile before turning to me

"Your usual room is... occupied?" Soyeon said

Oh. So they made my room Yeonjun's? I wonder what made them do that
