As I pulled into the driveway I got a call from my auntie Taminca

"Hold on auntie I'm taking James to his friends right now can I call you back" i say

"No baby I need to tell you this now is James listening in" she asks

" Um yeah hol on James go to the door I'll be there in a sec" i tell him

"Have you talked to your mom word on the street she's been really strung out" my auntie says

I knew it would get to her eventually she's nosey as hell so of course she gone find out.

" Um nope haven't talked to her James said she was at the house didn't get to talk to her through. And with the drug part I don't know what to tell you y'all need to admit her or something. I'm finna move out soon though am I'm taking James with me so" I said over the phone leaving my car

" Oh well you know we've been trying she don't want the help and we really don't know what to do anymore . But don't take James away from her she needs him"

" Tuh for what she don't even take care of him I've been taking care of him. So no I am taking James an you can take that up with god cause I don't give a damn Taminca now bye" I say ending the call

" Hello Mrs.Jane James was just wondering if he could come over to play with Jaelyn I do believe he got a invite" i say to Mrs.Jane

Mrs.Jane lives in the better side of Chicago i love James over here cause I don't have to worry about him getting hurt she's always letting him stay over no matter what and I love her for that.

" Yeah of course you know his welcome anytime would you like to come in for a cup of coffee." She says

" Yeah of course we could maybe catch up too" i say walking in her house

"James dude you made it come check out these new toys I got" Jaelyn says

After i tell her about me getting really close to moving an how bad my mom has been lately I get a phone call nd it's Paris

"Oh yeah kind of forgot we'll me an the gang finna go to a party tryna tag along"

" Cant I have James and he has school tomorrow also"

"Nope go girl after ever thing you just told me you've been working hard I'll take James to school" Mrs. Janes says

" Oh but it a drive an you also have Jaelyn and James has no clothes" i say tryna make a excuse not to go

" I don't mind the drive I have people I need to see down there anyways and James an Jaelyn are the same size" She says shutting down my case

" ugh okay" i say giving in

" yayyyyy" Paris says over the phone

" okay I'll meet you at?"

"one of my friends place send you the addy then from there we can go to the party" Paris says

"Alright girl bye see you there" i say ending the call

"Go have fun Karmoni I got James" Mrs. Janes says hugging me

"Okay thank you for always being there for me Mrs.J" i say leaving the house

After i finally arrived to the house it was nice as hell it was on the way better part of Chicago.

Once I got out the car i went to go knock on the door an there it was the same dude from the grocery store.

"Um I'm looking for Paris ?" I say asking the the dude

"She in the bathroom with the other females" he says standing in the walkway

"Well may I come in" i say making hand gestures

"Oh my god I should've never came tell Paris I'm going back home" i say walking away

"Passion" i say walking back to my car

When i back out the drive way i get a call from Paris

"What Paris"

"Why didn't you come in"

"That brown skin with the tattoos didn't let me in and I don't have time for no bullshit I'm finna just go back home" i say driving

"Girl that's Jamonte he always doing something come back we gone be late" She says
