Chapter 44- Wipe That Smirk Off

September 16th, 2014:

Since I had schedules all day yesterday I hadn't gone to school and thus had not had the opportunity to "apologise" to Yujin for the notes. After everything that had been happening, I was in no mood to talk back or put up a fight about this. Given her best friend saw me put these supposed notes in, I was pretty certain this was some type of ruse made by Yujin for some weird unknown reason, but I would just apologise and move on with my life. It was the safer route for me.

I woke up early in the morning, like 4am early, to go practice since I had school all day today. Even if I had gotten back to my dorm at 2:30, I couldn't sleep with everything from Jongin to school to the upcoming schedules running through my mind.

I get to the studio at 4:45 expecting it to be empty, but Jimin and Hoseok were already there.

"Y/N?" Hoseok says surprised to see me.

"Hobi-oppa..." I respond, just as surprised, "I didn't think anyone would be here... well maybe you Jimin-oppa".

"Yeah, Yoongi and Namjoon are also here, in the recording studio and the others left like an hour or so ago..." Hoseok explains.

"Wow... looks like I have a lot of work to catch up on," I answer, putting my bag down and starting to stretch, "sorry".

"What are you apologising for," Hoseok chuckles, "we know you were with Jongin, your happiness is also important and you have been improving on the choreos".

My face falls slightly at the mention of Jongin and my happiness. He did make me happy, but I had to do what I did for his own good. I couldn't let my selfish need for happiness drag him down. And plus, now this would allow me to practice more, it was a win-win I kept telling myself. Even though I think I secretly understood I not only broke with Jongin for his sake, but also for mine. I needed to be alone to try and get myself back on track, to get myself to think straight again.

I see Jimin eyeing me.

"Mmmm," I hum in response, "you want to run through Tomorrow with me? I keep missing the beat?"

"Sure," Hoseok nods, gesturing to Jimin to come over to dance with us.

We practice for an hour on Tomorrow and I Like It. Hoseok then leaves to go work on practicing for the Cypher performance with Namjoon and Yoongi.

"You good?" Jimin asks from the other side of the practice room as I packed up my bag to go take a quick shower before school.

I pause. From the way he was acting, I knew he knew something.

"Why?" I ask, trying to maybe evade the question and get to know what he knew.

"Nothing, you just seem more tired, quieter, than usual," he says shrugging.

He definitely did know something. Had Jongin told him something? They had exchanged numbers. I turn to look at him unimpressed.
