Ahmed's POV-
I got quickly ready to go pick up Ameera for our interview. I know I don't need to give any interviews or any internships but still, it would mean a lot for Ameera that I'll be there with her.

I was getting my phone from the table when I heard a knock.

"Come in" I said.

"Assalamu Alaikum bro" greets Taskeen.

"Walaikum Assalam sis. Everything good? Do you need something?" I asked worriedly.

"Alhumdulillah everything is good, don't worry too much bro. I just wanted to wish you good luck for your interview" she said which calmed me instantly.

"That's good and JazakAllah Khair"

"Wa iyyaka. I wanted you to ask Ameera if she is free anytime this week"

"Why? What you wanna talk to her about?" I asked raising an eyebrow at her.

She started chuckling and replied "just want to hang out with her bro. Chill not gonna tell her your secrets. Plus she is my friend too and you get to talk and meet with her every day but I don't" she pouts.

"Alright drama queen. I'll ask her but you have to understand if she says she is not free, okay?" I tease her.

"Ya ya, I'm a big girl bro and of course, I understand that she will be super busy with internships now" she stuck her tongue at me childishly. "Alright I'll let you be, and better hurry if you wanna reach there on time"

"Yes I'm leaving woman" I quickly had breakfast which was parotta with omelet and said goodbye to my parents. Before starting the car I messaged Ameera letting her know I'll be there in 15 minutes.

We sat in the car. There was silence. I knew she was tensed for the interview but didn't know how to help her calm down exactly. Hopefully whatever I say will calm her down. Besides if my company doesn't select her it would be our loss.

I messaged my dad's P.A before entering the building. I did inform them yesterday about me and Ameera doing the internship.

After we reached the reception, the receptionist was shocked to see me and I panicked that she would say something so I went forward and whispered to her to go with whatever I say. To which she stared wide eyes but quickly composed herself.
