part 003
party crasher

Two years ago

There was a stillness in the room which was broken by our synchronised breathing. As an arm tightened around me my body jerked on its own. I turn, ever so slowly, to look at him sleeping so peaceful, a slight smile playing on his face. He looks so peaceful and relaxed sleeping. He's shirtless so I place my palm on his chest and lightly brush my fingers down it.

"Stop." He murmurs out of nowhere making my eyes dart from his a bs to his sleepy  eyes.

"We're going to be late for class." I whisper as my fingers continue to brush further down his chest, just above his boxers waistband.

"Don't Athalia." He sternly says "Plus. I couldn't give two shits about economics. Why should I be there when you go for the both of us. You could just give me your pretty red underlined notes." I see the smirk grow on his face as he speaks. Ouch. Is that all I'm here for?

"Fuck you." I mutter under my breath. I move his arm from my waist and get up. I lean down to gather my clothes from the floor putting each piece on.

"You did." I can hear the pride in his voice "We should again tonight." Every night more ales I ended up here, in his bed, naked. Every morning I sneak around like a fucking criminal back to my dorm trying not to get caught by a security guard or a teacher.

"No. Unlike you, I want an A." I say, turning to face the other bed in the room "Kyran." I whisper in shock. I'm standing with my shirt unbuttoned, so basically in just my bra and my skirt.

"Hey Santiago." He smirks. He's laying in his bed with hand under his pillow and his other holding his phone. "Gotta point out you have a nice ass."

"When did you get in?" Kai asks, sitting up in his bed.

"After Tina let me go. Dude who the fuck knows I was drunk. Still am." He groans. Kai chuckles in response. Kyran Hugh and Kai's parents are best friends which gave them the easy path of being friends.

"Run to your lesson then." Kyran teases. Fucker. I throw a middle finger up at him as I walk out of their dorm. My sweater is clutched to my chest as well as my school shoes. Jesus, I better not get caught. I now and then look behind in case a teacher pops out of nowhere. I've done this a million times but each time it seems to get more scary. If I get caught again they'd call my father again and then he'd call me and then hell would break loose. The hallways are quiet as I quickly move through them down to my dorm at the end of the hallway. The metal number twelve nailed to the door with mine and Parker's name on it.

"I was worried he had killed you." She turns and looks at me. She's sitting on her bed with a mirror in front of her applying makeup. It's not like her.

"Where are you going?" I asked, sitting on her bed.

"There's just some party. A few of us are ditching school since finals killed us." She applies her lipstick, her signature Gucci lipstick. "Didn't he tell you about it?" She looked at me. I shake my head. I was just with him and he didn't say anything? 'He' being Kai and I spent all night with him. "It's invite only." She whispers, hopping off her bed. Why didn't he tell me?

Parties hosted by Kai Valdez were the thing. I attended one since I started Southview and they are a core memory. Me and Kai had been close for some time, he caught my attention from the start. We ended up being friends with benefits. Why do you ask? We both needed someone in the moment of things and it got heated. The first night I stayed with him he said 'What happens in these sheets stays in the sheets.' And he stook by his word, didn't tell a soul but his roommate, like I did. I thought in the moment it meant the things we did, but turns out he also meant our closeness. When we passed in the hallways there was nothing, like I wasn't just kissing him in a classroom and half naked.
