Aleeza's POV
.

The smell is always a little terrible but the designs are undoubtedly too beautiful, I looked down at my hand and couldn't stop myself admiring the black patterns drawn on my hand.

Everyone thinks that I fell sick yesterday, so I was told to sit with Zara to get mehndi done, there was a long queue for it, I was lucky I got it done before everyone else.

"I'm tired" zara complaint

She must be tired, she has been sitting in the same position for hours, since she was the bride, they were taking their sweet time with her

"Put some cushions behind her back, she will atleast rest her back" I told Arfa, she immediately got up to oblige

"I'm hungry" zara pouted

"Arfa, bring her something to eat?" Chachi said

"Yaar kya hai saare kaam mai hi kyu karu (why do I have to do all the work?)" Arfa whined, we all laughed. She made a sour face but went to bring something to eat nevertheless

"I'm so nervous about the wedding" chachi said

I really wanted to put my hand on hers and give her a little reassurance that everything would go smoothly, but I couldn't as my mehndi was still wet

Chaachi looked at zara and said, "I will miss you terribly" zara's eyes watered and so were chachi's

I was just sitting quietly and watching their mother and daughter moment when I heard a voice

"Ummm, personally I would never want to come in between in this emotional moment, but chachi, you have been summoned by dadi" said the person who set my soul on fire

"Ok" chachi wiped her tears, she immediately got up

I turned around and found my handsome husband standing there, I smiled at him and he smiled back

We both continued staring at each other, he mouthed "you ok" to me, I nodded. I love this feeling in my heart right now

We have not talked since the moment when he left to go to the police station, when he returned I was already asleep and when I woke up he was not in the bed. I needed to break the ice between us, I got up and walked towards him

"Is everything ok?" He asked

"It is"

"How is it?" I asked putting my palms infront of him showing my mehndi. He kept looking at my hands for so long, he had a frown etched  in his forehead, I began to worry in an anticipation of his answer

"Incomplete" he finally answered. Now it was my turn to frown, but it was in confusion

"Incomplete?" I asked

"Wait" he said and walked in the room, he went past me, my gaze was following him, I saw him picking up a mehndi cone, then he returned to me

"Give me your hand" he said

"Huh?" I asked, he pointed at my hand, I stuck it out for him.

I was curious to see what he wanted to do.

"Eyes, up here" he said pointing at his face, I quickly did what he had asked me to

The sight was pretty funny. Irteza Hasan, the ceo of such a big company, desire of so many girls, standing here with a mehndi cone in his hand and God knows doing what on my hand.

"Done, you can look now" he said grinning ear to ear, I looked at my palm, I smiled when I noticed that he wrote his name on my palm, even though it was written messily, but still it was the most beautiful thing in the world
