Four ships from Sharkun's fleet exploded violently. He and the other sailors are shocked.

"M-magic cannons...?" – Sharkun

The barrage of shells continued, and in just a short span of 5 minutes, 96 more of his ships are destroyed, to a total of 100. But then the enemy ceased fire just after 25 barrages. Why? Could it be...?

"They ran out of magic power and need to recharge perhaps? Just like those Parpaldian cannons then. Fleet! Reduce the speed! Keep your distance! Hey, call back to the capitals, we need the wyverns. As many as they can muster. As fast as they think they can run, they can't outrun our wyverns!" – Sharkun

"Yes sir!" – Adjutant

"Hmm... I see... they can't keep that rate of fire up forever. Let's see how you deal with this, barbarians! We'll bake you alive inside that metal coffin!" – Sharkun

The adjutant ran back into the cabin and informed the mana comm officer. The message was sent back to the Jin-Hark garrison.

Louria, Capital Jin-Hark,

Receiving the message, General Patagene asked them to read it out loud.

"Sir! Two metal warships armed with magical weapons, we request air support immediately! They have lost 50 ships!" – Comm officer

"Metal warships with magical weapons? Didn't they say the Japanese are just some new barbarian country?" – General Smark

"Battlefield is always changing. It could be that they have a superpower acting as their benefactor. This may complicate our war against the Qua Toynians, but it won't change much." – General Patagene

"What?! Who could it be?!" – General Smark

"No matter who that could be, our army will not back down when provoked! Send 250 wyverns that we have in Jin-Hark!" – General Patagene

"Y-yes sir!" – Soldier

"Don't send your troop in piecemeal, isn't it?" – General Smark

"Yes, if those barbarians are willing to put those precious ships on the line, then we shall return in kind." – General Patagene

Just in half an hour, the whole wyvern corps in charge of the defense of Jin Hark is readied and move to the runway to take off. Two hundred and forty wyverns, a whole twenty squadron worth of wyverns, and 10 elite commanders sortied to the sea.  The knights who can't sortie together with their comrades cheer on. A hundred of them have to stay back to defend the capital. They are the lucky ones.

The sky of Jin-Hark is filled with Louria's pride and joy, their wyvern corp. The populace and soldiers watch on with awe and envy. Soaring through the sky, how liberating it must feel.
