Y/n had awoken long before dawn decided to show its hues of oranges, pinks, and violets. She had sat in her opened window to watch the sunrise before getting dressed and ready for the chaos that that day would bring. Her bare feet padded against the wooden floor, as she made her way to her wardrobe. Upon opening the creaky doors, she ran her hand through her clothing trying to find something to wear.

She wanted to look as ladylike as possible so that she could try to convince the headmistress that she didn't need to attend her school. Though deep down, she knew nothing will work to get her out of going to that school. She huffed as she reached for a dress that looked nice enough and went to put it on.

Upon looking at herself in the mirror, she smiled. The dress looked very nice on her. The long brown skirt went slightly past her ankle. While barefoot, the dress would most certainly drag on the ground, but nothing her boots can't fix. The off-white blouse hung loose on her arms but hugged her figure comfortably.

She decided that she needed a splash of color to her outfit as she went to her dresser and pulled up a drawer. She dug through many garments before finding the one she was looking for. It was a sage green button up vest. She quickly put it on as she walked back to stand in front of her mirror. After struggling with the last button, she looked up to see how it all looked.

She scanned her outfit in the mirror, a small smile crossing her lips. The colors complimented her skin tone and the ensemble fitted her figure perfectly, and without a corset as well.

She then looked at her hair, a braid she had slept in, now littered with loose hairs and fly aways. She went over to her vanity and sat in the wooded chair before it. She took out the ribbon keeping the braid together before unraveling it. She then combed through her now loose hair to make sure there were no knots. She had found that using a brush would only make it look like a lion's mane, and today was not the day for that.

As soon as she finished with her hair, she heard the sound of wheels on gravel, along with strange noises of a motor. Curious, she walked to her window and peered out. She watched as an older woman, whom she assumed was the Headmistress they were expecting, rumble down the gravel path leading to her home.

Her peaceful mood had vanished and was replaced with one of callous and disapproval. She didn't want to go to this school, much less want her sister to go, as she knew that school would take away everything that made Enola, well, Enola.

She watched as the woman got off her vehicle. Mycroft approached and kissed her hand, in which Y/n decided it was time for her to leave her room and face the music. She shut her window with a slam, smirking to herself as she saw the woman jump, who was startled by the sudden noise, and left her room.

"Stand tall girls." The woman, whom Y/n found was Mrs. Harrison, barked. They were now in Enola's bedroom, wearing only their undergarments. Y/n rolled her shoulders back as she also rolled her eyes. Her measurements were already written down and heavily disapproved of and so it was Enola's turn. Y/n watched Mrs. Harrison very closely, taking in every detail of the woman and her threatening aura. She had completely zoned out when it came to Enola's measurements. She was snapped back into reality, upon hearing Enola's voice.

"Hips are simply a function of legs, aren't they? What need have they of amplification?" The youngest asked, curiously.

"Aren't you the clever little tongue? I'll enjoy that." Mrs. Harrison responded.

"I won't enjoy being imprisoned in those preposterous clothes." Y/n said, matter of factly. Her face void of any emotion.
