Catherine's pov

Sunday is a holiday for all, but it was a working day for me. I was arranging the house. I gave away all the things belonging to James. The things reminding us are burned. The memories of us are now ashes.

There are many empty spaces inside now. But I have work every day, so I don't have time to rearrange things. So Sunday is a busy day for me.

I ordered food from outside because I was tired of the cleaning.

It is Sunday night. Cerena came from her parents home. She asked me to join her at the club. We need to celebrate the divorce. I was okay with the idea. I invited Susan to join us.

I haven't heard anything from James since the divorce. I think he is happy with the new life. I may be preparing to be a dad. I am also happy with my new life. Everything was going quite well.

I am ready; I sent the message to Cerena. She came to the door. We went together to the club Aphrodite.
Susan was waiting for us at the entrance.

"Did you wait too long? " I asked her from a distance.
" No. Just 10  minutes, she replied simply.
"Come, don't waste time. We need to celebrate Girls Day,"Cerena pulled me and Susan with each of her hands. We laughed at her act.
"Slow cerena," Susan complained.
"Yeah, we are coming," I said.

The club was filled with many people. Most of them are youngsters. The loud music makes our legs automatically move.

We three sat at the counter.
"Today we have to get drunk, "Cerena said, like she only drinks on special days.
"Of course," Susan said, placing her hand on Cerena's hand. They both waited for my reply.
"Why not?" I too joined them.

"What would you like?" the bartender boy asked. He is a blonde guy. His drink-mixing skill is really amazing. That makes girls go crazy for him.

"Anything you give," Susan winked at him. He smiled at her. He may have heard many flattering words from the customers.
"Susan, that was fast," I said to her.
True,""Rena agreed with me.
"I can flirt with any guy. I am  single, she said to us.
"I am also single." I also raised my hand and joined her team.
"What about me? "Cerena asked.
"You have wad," I said, pushing her to the other side. We can't include her on this singles team.

The drinks came. We started drinking. Soon, our tongues became tired. The vision started blurring. I can see two Susans and three Cerenas.

"Want more?" the bartender asked.
"The more, the merrier," Susan said. He went to take our drinks.

"Hey guys," we three said, turning from our seats. It was wad.
"Hi wad," I said to him.
"How come you are here? " I asked him.
"Your friend messaged me," he said, showing his phone. Of course, we know which friend he meant.
"Rena, you told me it was a girls night," I yelled at her.
"Rena is here." She would turn me to the side where she is sitting.
"Rena? " I asked her to answer.
"It is a girls night, guys," she said.
"Then is he a girl?" This time, it was Susan. She pointed at Wad.
"Are you? "Cerena asked him. He looked at her like he was ready to kill anyone. She gulped.
"No, he is a boy. He is mine. Me and him are one, "Cerena said to him. She threw herself in the water.
"Who is this guy? " Susan asked Cerena.
"He was my divorce lawyer," I said, tapping her hand.
"So you separate my cat and my brother?" Susan asked him. His eyes widened.
"It's okay. That was  necessary, she compliments him.
"He is my cat's schoolmate and my love mate," Rena said, clinging to his arm.
"What about me? My bar mate," she asked, raising her glass.
"Good idea," I clinged my glass with hers.
"Enough, you all are drunk," he finally opened his mouth.
"So you do speak?" Susan asked him, which he avoided.
"Does he study with your cat? " Susan asked.
"Yes," I smile.
"Stop drinking, girls," he again said, grabbing a glass from mine and Susan's hand.
"Can't you hear what he said? "Cerena asked. She was too obedient to him.
"I will stop with three more," Susan said, showing three fingers.
"You won't be alive for that," he cut her off.

Wad sat in the chair next to us. He called someone. After a few minutes, he waved in the distance. Two more people joined us.

"Why did you call me? " Dominic asked. Wad pointed at us.
"Why did you bring him? "I asked about Henry.
"He joined me after hearing Aphrodite," Dominic said.

"Who are you all?"How dare you bring your friends here? " Susan yelled at  Wad.
"Stop, this is my boss." I stopped Susan from yelling at him. We three gave a salute to Dominic.
Dominic understood how drunk we were.
"Really, your boss is hot," Cerena commented.
"You know her boss?" Cerena asked to wad.
"He was my classmate," Wad said. Dominic sat next to me.
"Cat, so he is your classmate too? " Susan asked with big eyes.
"Yes," I admitted.
"How lucky? Which school did you study at? All the handsome boys are there? "Cerena asked, coming to me.
"Still, you fall for my fool brother," Susan said, shaking her head disapprovingly.
" Stop. This is the party for my divorce. Stop mentioning  him,, I said.

"When did this start?" Dominic asked.
"I think more than an hour ago," he replied.

"Hi cat!" Henry said.
"Hi hen," I replied.
"Hen? " he replied.
" Yeah. I am Catherine, and you call me Cat. So you are Henry, and I call you Henry," I said.
"Very nice, "Wade said. Dominic was laughing at his brother.
Hi,""Henry directed to Susan.
"What? " she asked.
"You are a tough girl," he said, looking her up and down.
So?"  she asked.
"It is a compliment," he said.
"Then thank you," she replied.

"Enough, take these girls home,", Dominic said. We didn't agree with him, but the Lord knows what happened next?.
