"And I think Aarohi will be a good choice for this project" I said.
"But sir this the fashion week we are talking about its not a child's play!" Myra voiced out.
"We all know who the child here is!" Rudra taunted with a pointed look.
"Mr. Rudra for your kind information she's just a newcomer" Myra hissed at Rudra.
"I think sir is right, we should give Aarohi a chance and if anything goes wrong we all are there to help" Mr. Rakesh said.
"Sir I guess it's not fair for other employees if we do favouritism here" Myra said.
Aarohi snickered at this sentence.
"Bol bhi kon Raha hai" she muttered under her breath. (Look who is talking)
"No one is doing any favouritism here, this is purely based on skills and talent" my hard voice silenced everyone present in the conference room.
"But sir-" Myra started.
"Is a newcomer getting this project your problem? Or Miss. Aarohi getting this project your problem?" Rudra interrupted.
"No sir, I was just-" she looked at me to explain further.
"You didn't have any problem when Ishaan was selected for the same exact project" Aarohi asked folding her hands together giving a pointed look at Myra while learning in her seat.
"Everyone agreed that his presentation was better than others" Myra said arrogantly.
"Everyone also agreed that Aarohi's presentation was as good as his" Mr. Prakash spoke.
"I don't think sir will do any partiality in work, he has never done that" Mr. Rakesh said.
"As I said before, Aarohi is a good choice for this project. I have taken this decision after discussing with miss Janhvi and she has agreed so Aarohi will be leading this project" I said.
"But sir-"
"Miss Myra I guess I have made myself very clear, I don't think I need to further explain my decisions to anyone" I looked at Myra with finality in my voice.
"Aarohi and Ishaan both will be working in this project with seperate teams, you two are free to choose which employees you need for help, Mr. Rakesh and Prakash both will be helping you with this"
"Have I made myself clear?" I used my boss tone.
"Yes sir" everyone said in unison.
