Since when did texting someone become such a big deal? Especially hinata, shoyo hinata of all people, it just didn't make much sense

Tsukishima decided his aimlessly pacing wasn't going to do him any good and sent hinata a text

Tsukishima turned his phone off, considering deleting the message, but it was already too late for that as his phone flicked back on with a reply from hinata

Tsukishima smiled at hinatas response back before closing the messages app and opening Spotify so he could play music while completing his maths homework

He just got to the end of his homework when his music was cut off by an incoming call from yamaguchi

"What you want?"

"Okay I know you told me not to call you unless I was dying or getting attacked by dinosaurs but this is an emergency" Yamaguchi shouted from the other side of the line

"Bro? That was literally a joke. Please don't tell me you took that seriously, yamaguchi."

There was a split second or two of silence from yamaguchi

"Okay... Good to know. I guess I'll start calling you more often then" Yamaguchi mumbled

"ANYWAY LIKE I WAS SAYING I THINK ALL FOUR OF US SHOULD HANG OUT THIS WEEKEND SINCE WHEN WE DO ITS ALWAYS WITH THE WHOLE TEAM" Yamaguchi exclaimed

"No, I don't want to third wheel you and kageyama." Tsukishimas nose scrunched purely at the thought of it

"He's sitting with me tsukishima he can hear you,"

"Even better."

"Tsukki!!" Yamaguchi said in a tone that secretly said,'Don't be mean

"Hinata will be there," kageyama added

"Yeah, so you'll be fine,"

"Right, that doesn't make it any better, so still no,"

"I'm gunna to add hinata to the call," Yamaguchi stated

And just a few seconds later, there was a bunched of muffled noise, in the background waffling on about being careful, then there was a loud

"Hey guys!" From hinata

"Hinata!!, do you wanna hang out this weekend me you kageyama and tsukishima?"

"I'd love to,"

Just then, a slight " Oh god" could be heart from tsukishima and a " shut up" followed by kageyama

Hinata didn't need to think twice about who it was. their voices were very noticeable, suggesting that tsukishima was also on the call, and kageyama and yamaguchi were in the same room together

"Hey kageyama,hey tsukishima,"

Both kags and tsukki repeated a 'hi' back

"Hinata tsukishima said he doesn't want to hang out with us commoners." Tobio said, making it sound a lot worse than what it actually was

"Tsukishima.." hinata said in a somewhat soft tone

"Hinata. " Tsukishima said in response to his name

"You should come. It will be fun!"

Tsukishima paused for a second before giving his answer, which he was sure was once again going to be a no

"Fine."

'Wowwww. ' tsukishima, though to himself purely out of embarrassment that he couldn't no longer control what he wanted to say to hinata anymore

Tho hinatas excited response made it somewhat tolerable

The call went on for a while longer as they always found the most random things to talk about, like how scary tobios ratty old dog looks according to tsukishima or what the best skittle flavour was

As kageyama and hinata argued about this with regular input from yamaguchi tsukishima stayed silent listening to hinatas voice every time he spoke also hearing a child's voice in the background complaining about a TV show,tsukishima now knew this girl to be natsu

Learning things about hinata felt somewhat natural he wouldn't admit to liking it, but it came naturally, slowly, but naturally, he liked it that way, though
