Episode 2: Rescued

Y/n's POV...
It was a quiet ride. "Y'all got any water?" I asked Yoder. He passed me a bottle. I drank a little. Nima asked for it. I let her have it. "Who's left?" Yoder asked.
"Doctor Sorkin and her assistant." Oscar said.
"What about D-Caf?"
"D-Caf's dead." Oscar answered Yoder.
"I like your tattoos." Jess said to Oscar.
"Why don't you tell her what they mean." Nima told him as I went to take another drink of water. "The gravestones are for the people that died beside him. The skulls are for the people that died because of him...tell us, where you gonna D-Caf's tombstone?" I coughed mid drink and spat the water out. "You running out of room..."
"What did you say?!" Oscar rose up.
"Hey! Don't touch her!" I told him as I cleared my throat. I stood up in front of Nima. His height and muscles on his arms didn't intimidate me. "You think either of us are afraid of you?" I asked. We both sat back down. I looked at Jess and Gerry. "Listen, I know Yoder and Oscar. They're not totally bad people, but they are killers. They could leave us for dead." I told them.
"Y/n is right. We're in the company of killers." Nima said.
"'Company of Killers'... Oh thats got a nice ring to it! It could be a hit single!" Yoder joked, following it with singing, "'Yeah! You're in, the company, of Killers! Yeah!!!'"
"They hurt people and then joke about it." Nima told them.
"Speaking of jokes... Oscar, tell her the one about the Priest, the Stripper, and the bucket of frogs!" Yoder said.
"This is how men act when they lack the courage to face themselves." Nima said.
"I can face myself just fine. With my beautiful face, who couldn't?"
"Yoder, do you have auto pilot on?" I asked him.
"Yeah, you wanna come up and watch?" He asked.
"Nope." I took a drink of water. I went up front and spit it in his face. "Just that."
"Okay, this place stays off auto pilot for the rest of the ride so that won't happen again." Billy said as he changed the autopilot.
"I'm surprised he can even see his forehead with his head up his a——"
"ENOUGH!" Oscar yelled.
"What, are ya gonna kill me? You did that to me once already!" Nima told him.
"I'm thinking of getting a butterfly tattoo on my ankle." Jess tried changing the subject.
"I'm going to carve the names of the people you killed in those skulls, then we'll see how proud you are!" Nima yelled.
"Try it, I'll..."
"You won't get the chance to stop her with both your arms broken." I told him.
"Listen! Theres still more people who need our help. Whatever issues you four got, work them out on the mainland." Gerry told us. He faced Jess. "And you are not getting a tattoo."

The helicopter landed. Doctor Sorkin was there. "Whats going on here?" She looked at Billy Yoder and Oscar.
"Complications. Me, the pilots, and the girl got some shit to settle when we're finally away from here." I told Sorkin.
"Yeah, we're the band. Where can we set up?" Yoder said.
"Excuse me?"
"I'm just kidding, InGen sent us. We're the Calvary." Yoder told her.
"Let's just get this out of the way." Doctor Sorkin told them. "I'm not going anywhere. This part of the island is pretty remote and a long way from the predators. I'm perfectly safe and don't need saving."
"Listen lady, we don't have time for this. Either get in the helicopter peacefully or I will personally knock you out, put you in cuffs, and throw you in."
"God I'm getting sick of this shit." I said to them all.
"Can i help them?" Jess asked. I put my hand on her shoulder. "Sure. Why the hell not." Yoder said.
"Be safe." I whispered to Jess and patted her shoulder. I went to the helicopter with Nima. Handcuffed like an animal. "This sucks." She said.
"Lo sé. I'm sorry." I told her.
"Lo sé? I thought you didn't know Spanish." Nima said. I pulled the book out of my pocket. "Oh, this is what you were reading?" She asked
"Yeah. Grabbed it so I could translate more stuff you say." I told her. "And to learn a little myself. I know that mariquita means lady bug." I told her.
"Yeah...that's what I called my daughter." Nima said.
"How sweet." I said. I put a hand on hers and latched my pinky to hers.
"Y/n. We might need your help." Gerry said.
"Okay. I'll come with y'all." I said. "Don't let them piss you off." I told Nima. She nodded. I got out and followed Gerry, Sorkin, and Jess.
