CHAPTER1️⃣5️⃣

~HANNI' P.O.V~

I woke up feeling my head spinning. I had a severe headache and sore thighs. Opening my eyes, I realized that I was in an unfamiliar place and a muscular arm was snaked around my waist.

I turned around only to find Minji sleeping peacefully. She had no clothes on. Then realization hit me like a truck, I was naked too! I repeated the same mistake that I made six years ago, with the same freaking person!

Removing her arm from my waist, I sat up. I clutched the blanket over my bare chest. Then my eyes fell on my purse which was lying on the floor just beside the bed.

I picked it up in a hurry and took out my phone. To my horror, I found a lot of missed calls and voice messages. I dialed the number and a familiar voice picked up.

"Mommy, where awe you!!! I came back home, but you wewe not hewe. Pwease come back!" Mj cried.

"Baby, just wait a bit more. Mommy will be there. Don't cry baby, please!" I pleaded.

I just hung up the phone when I felt movement beside me. I turned to look at her, I was fuming with anger. Seeing my face she widened her eyes and hurriedly sat up.

"Hanni, let me explain!" She said.

As soon as those words came out of her mouth, I slapped her, really hard!!

"There's nothing to explain!! I was drunk and you took advantage of me. You filthy bastard!!!" I yelled.

Without giving her a chance to speak, I quickly picked up my clothes and ran away from her house.

When I entered my apartment, I saw Mj sitting on the President's lap. She was crying and she was patting his back to calm him down. As soon as he saw me, he jumped out of her lap and came running to me. I engulfed him in an embrace.

"Miss Hanni, I tried contacting you several times when we came back here. But you didn't pick up. So I thought of staying here with him."

"I don't know how to thank you, ma'am! And I'm really very sorry that you had to stay here the whole night," I thanked her.

She just nodded and exited my apartment after giving Mj one last pat on his head.

I was angry and embarrassed at the same time. What could she have thought of me!!

~Author's P.O.V~

The president was a very smart lady and she knew exactly how to control her reactions. The moment she laid eyes on Hanni, she knew what Hanni had been upto last night. The purple marks on her neck, messy hair, wrinkled clothes and her unsteady gait only meant that she had quite an exciting night. And the fact that, Minji was also out of reach, there was no doubt that they were together.

Asking questions would have made Hanni feel uncomfortable, so she decided to keep quiet. This incident didn't bother her, in fact she was happy that her workaholic daughter was finally taking interest in a woman.

hanni decided to skip office that day. She didn't want to face her ass hole of a boss. So she stayed at home and made up to Mj for all the trouble he had been through last night.

On the other hand, Mrs Choi was having a crisis because of Hanni's absence. Hanni was supposed to bring some important files but she wasn't picking up her phone.

"WY, do you know where Hanni is? I can't reach her and I really need those files. Find her and bring me those files," Mrs Choi ordered her and hurried back to her office.

"Do you know where Hanni is? She isn't picking up her phone!" Rei asked out of nowhere.

"What is wrong with everyone!!! Why everyone is asking me where Hanni is! How in the freaking world I'm supposed to know!" Wy yelled being frustrated.

"Oh, chill! You're her sister, so I thought you'd know," rei explained backing off.

WY rolled her eyes at her and walked out of the office. First she couldn't go to the party because of her and now all these. She indeed was very mad.

Minji was spacing out sitting in her office. The memories of last night and then the slap in the morning after, gave her mixed feelings. Shaking off all the thoughts, she decided to visit Mj at the kids center

She was quite disappointed when she found out that Mj wasn't there. She also found out about Hanni's absence. Now, only one thing she could do and it was to visit her apartment.

"What are you doing here?" Hanni asked opening the door.

"If you don't want to listen to my explanation, then at least let me meet Mj!" She pleaded.

"That's not gonna happen! Leave us alone. I don't want to see your face anymore!" Hanni scoffed.

"Then do you want me to go to the court! It won't be hard for me to get his custody, you know!! Think again, do you want it the easy way or the hard way!" Minji tried to bluff.

"So, that's what you wanted all along! To take my kid away from me!" Hanni said, now with teary eyes.

Once again Mjnji said something what she shouldn't have. She didn't mean to hurt her feelings but the words came out wrong. She really needed to learn how to talk to hanni, without making her scared or hurt.

Till now they were too busy in their dispute to notice a third person who was eavesdropping on them.

"Who's there? I know you're there, come out now," Minji yelled turning behind. Hanni also became curious.

"Sorry Ma'am! I didn't mean to eavesdrop. I only came to get some files," WY replied being caught.

Seeing Wy, made Hanni widen her eyes. Wy was the last person she ever expected to find out about the truth.
