Great mothers love!

The next morning, I woke up quite early and looked at the things that I was wearing while I got to here yesterday. Thankfully I did wear quite the expensive watch which I was sure I could sell off. So inevitable I ran out of the house early in the morning to sell it and get some things done. I knew after all how bad things looked like around the house. There was also one hunch that I hoped was wrong. 

I wonder if the others are up yet...

Ahhh what a disaster!

Why did Yagi had to see me...

Let's not think about this because it's surely gonna make me go crazy!

No doubt about this at all.

When I finally came back after running some errands, I could find my mother in the kitchen. She was even talking to herself when I got inside the home. I could hear her and I decided to slowly and silently approach her to hear what she was saying. Somehow I thought that Yagi might have told her something and lied to me but at the same time I hoped that this was not the case. So I came over to listen to her worries.

Mom: If my Zuzu doesn't like porridge, I'll cook two eggs for him.... he should be happy with this.

When I heard that, I couldn't help but smile. Maybe there was nothing to worry about but looking around the house, I knew there was always something hiding beneath the surface. 

Anyways, I knocked at the door and held the small paper bag up into the air as I approached my mom.

Me: I am back home and I got us some snacks from the local backery.

Mom: WHAT? Where did you get the money for this?

Thankfully it was Yagi who came into the room and it seems as if he was ready to back me up here. Tho I really didn't quite know why he would do that. Still he looked as if he knew that I didn't wanted to say anything and he was not gonna push me for it. I was glad for this.

Yagi: I gave him the money and asked him to go treat himself to something. He needs to grow and eat well after all.

Me: Thanks. come and let's eat together.

My mom seemed soo confused about everything but it was honestly just about what happened yesterday. He found me cutting myself... he also saw that I had no wounds. Count one and one together and voila here we were. Still I was just glad he was not about to worry my mom. He seemed like a good guy. For now, I would just watch over him and everything until I would make my judgement.

Anyways, once food was done, we started to put the dishes on the table and after everything was prepared all three of us sat there and started to eat.

Mom: You're soo nice to him. Honey, is something going on?

Yagi: Ah my lotus flower, there is nothing going on. I love you and I know you love your soon. So who am I going to treat nice if not you and your son?

Me: Mom, you don't look so well....is everything okay?

Mom: I'm fine... just a bit tired.

Yeah....

Everyone can tell that that is not true....

I have a bad feeling about this...

Plus I got enough money to at least get you treated if it is something serious.

Trust me....

But I can't say that.

She worries too much about me.

Me: Then how about this? Why not get there together?

Mom: There is no need for this my bunny mundy.

Me: Can I check you up?

She looked too pale and I didn't liked it. Although, I didn't know much about medicine, I at least had some basic memories on a couple of treatment methods. No one looked after me for a while now and I had to fend for myself so in order to live, I just started to read books. This was how I knew hot to check the pulse and also read some signs but that was all just in theory. Now was the best time to check it out.

Me: May I?

Mom: If this is making you feel better.

Me: Thanks.

She gave me her hand while I had asked her for it and then tried it out every method I knew.

She looks pale.... this is really not normal...

What could it be....

I watched her in the kitchen before...

She seemed....

Me: Did you perhapse donated blood?

Yagi: Donated? Did you really go and sell your blood? I thought we said that this wouldn't be needed. I also told you never to do it again.

Me: Again?

Mom: Honey, please.... stop....

Yagi: No, he should know this. A year ago, Hitoshi threatened you with a hunger strike to get a phone. He screamed and made a scene. You can't tell me you don't remember. He literally said that everyone had a phone and he didn't . They would look down on him. So you went to a black market clinic to sell your blood to afford a phone for that child. You became weaker after that and I was the one who found you laying on that alley. Do you know how worried I was! HITOSHI even proposed that you should sell one of your kidneys after he found out about this. Then the made up story that you are a mistress. Everything lies! I always wondered how he could have been your son. You are an angel and he is just too different from you. If I had known about that selfish little ungreatful dog, then I would have done something way sooner.

My mom was sitting there looking down on the table but I could tell that it was true. I didn't even know how I should feel about this now. Shocked? Angered? Mad? Honestly, I felt everything inlcuding pity and sadness. How could someone even say such barbaric things? This was simply just ridiculous!

Mom: It's okay. It's all in the past now. We are here as a family now. So let's forget about the past and let the past be past?

Yagi: .... Love...

I couldn't help but look at my mom. What I heard was quite unbelievable. She was indeed one of the best motheres, no, the best mother in the world. I now knew that she would sacrifice everything for her son no matter what. 

Is this all just motherly love?

She is... wow... this is something else....

Before I knew it, she reached out and patted my head. 

Mom: Did this make you feel uncomfortable?

Me: I'm okay.

What a warm hand... this is the love that I received and I will make sure that you will be treated well too.

A mother who would give everything for her son...

I can see why my previous self exchanged his sould to get back to her.

Hitoshi doesn't deserve someone this great!

Don't worry, I'll give mother all the love she deserves!

I'll make things right but for now...

Me: Mom, you have to rest.

Yagi: I agree. I'll call in a friend to check up on you. 

Mom: Alright. I am sorry to have worried you two this much.
