When you're three foot ten and in high school, getting from point "A" to point "B" can be a harrowing experience.
And a bit crazy as my sister liked to put it
But it's worth it when point "B" is...the library.

Home to the original information superhighway, the Dewey Decimal System.

"Hey there, Sheldon and Tori. What can I get for you today? Chemistry? Quantum mechanics? Astronomy?" Ms Hutchins asked

"No, nothing fun today. I need to learn how to make a friend." Sheldon replied nonchalantly

"I am just here to see a miracle happen!" Tori joined in excited

"Aw, honey, you having a hard time adjusting to high school?" Ms Hutchins responds with a hint of pity

"I'm having a hard time adjusting to Earth." Sheldon replies with a face

"Hahaha, who isn't" Tori laughs in the background

"Yeah. You and me both." Ms Hutchins nods with approval

"Why?"

"Well, we now know Mom is concerned that Shelly doesn't have any friends"  Tori explains

"So I'm determined to remedy the situation." Sheldon finishes "George."

"Well, good for you."

"Do you feel complimented when I say your name, George? The book says you should. George." Sheldon asked again

"I suppose. Kind of overdoing it a little. Sheldon." George hums

"Well, thank you for your criticism. It also says I should praise any improvements that you've made." Sheldon continues

"Okay." He looks expecting

"I'll get back to you. George." Sheldon turns around

"Well, he's trying and making a great effort!" Tori says with enthusiasm

On the heels of that successful beta test,

I decided to practice the Carnegie principles
